The Dorrigo area is on a great tourist trail called Waterfall Way. There are many small and large waterfalls scattered around the area. But for me personally Crystal Shower falls which is on the larger Wonga Walk amongst subtropical rainforest and 600-year-old trees in the Dorrigo National Park. This image was captured standing in behind the falls.

It looked miserable outside. But I headed out the door, it is only a 10 minute drive to the beach and I thought might as well try. During the drive there the sky looked even more miserable, I almost chucked a u-turn. But I didn't. ... I had committed to trying to capture sunrise on my 3rd last morning in Jervis Bay. If I had given up, given in to the easy option, going back to bed. I WOULD HAVE MISSED THIS!! One of the most stunning sunrises I have seen, ever! So for me today the lesson is simple, be persistent, stay on task and don't take the easy option.

On my first day in Iceland I drove to the location for Sunset Falls at Kirkjufell (Church Mountain) and following the sunset I ended up at Grundarfjordur when the beautiful colours of Apricot Sunset appeared. Grundarfjordur is a small town on the Snæfellsnes peninsular. Kirkjufell and the Kirkjufellsfoss waterfall are key natural attractions in the area.

Port Stephens is a natural wonder of Australia and so easily accessible. The beach at Shoal Bay is beautiful and provides a mix of ocean conditions and protected bay depending on where you end up on the beach. On this particular morning I headed to the rocks at the very end of the beach under the lighthouse to capture the sun rising through the heads. The light was stunning and the way it lit the water was WOW!
