25.01.2022 Gave these custom Adam Savage figures 3 years ago on Brain Candy event here in Melbourne. When the show went to a break, I asked a staff to hand over the figures to Adam. When the show resumed, I was shocked to see him holding the customs on stage and show it off to the thousands of attendees and asked me to come over! and gave me a note to meet him after the show for the meet and greet. 13.01.2022 This is probably the most ambitious custom project and largest piece that I've worked on. I was inspired by Adam Savage Tested youtube video when he modified his Sideshow The Child. Since that's too expensive piece to customize and it's already an accurate and awesome piece. I decided to challenge myself to improve this $60 plush toy and add more details & stuff to make more accurate. So I started off repainting the head, with my hobby acrylic paints and few detailing with c...olored pencils. Glued some beard strands from our old Santa xmas decor as grogu’s hair Now the most challenging part! sewing Grogu's outfit from scratch. I used an old khaki pants and fleece blanket. everything is hand sewn. I'm no tailor, but I'd just figured it out on the fly. I also added a wireframe inside the plush to make his arms and legs flexible and add weight on it. I also removed the plush hands and sculpted my own from scratch with Aves Apoxie Sculpt. For the Razor Crest shift knob, I used a souvenir Ping Pong Ball I got from Adam Savage's Brain Candy. Good thing I got a bunch of it. Just perfect because it's too light and won't force Grogu's hands to move down. I'm so glad how it this turned out and I hope you guys liked it too! 10.01.2022 To kick-off this year, I've made a retro-style figure of The Thousand Dollar Broski aka Matt Cardona, and Bare Minimum Brian aka Brian Myers of The Major Wrestling Figure Podcast! This custom took a lot of work for me to pull off. From the additional sculpted details on the figures, hand-painting, cover artwork and layout of the cardback, logos, printing, cutting, and finally taking photos! 03.01.2022 Sold my first Beskar Mando figure to get this figure with Din Djarin’s head. It’s a great scan, just fell too short on some details. I think it’s too clean, a bit pale and needs more facial hair. So I repainted it with a new skin tone and added more details. I think the likeness to Pedro Pascal pops much better now. I’ll be repainting the whole armor too, so excited to share the progress!
