24.01.2022 Voting is now open! Vote 1 for a strong and stable LNP Government, or a hung Parliament and chaotic Labor Government beholden to the whims of the minor parties.#strongerQLD #MountIsa
22.01.2022 Diamantina channels at Davenport Downs starting to fill creating natural irrigation for feed. Water coming from Camooweal across to north of the Curry heading south. Great sight. Met with people at Bedourie this morning and discussed their issues. Shocked to find they had no mobile service, job I will be right onto if elected to the LNP government. #qldvotes #strongerQLD #MountIsa
21.01.2022 Mighty Gilbert river at the bridge between Croydon and Georgetown. Looks good heh this is one of the mighty rivers that can continue to grow our GDP(Gross domestic product) per person. Presently you are all creating $212,000 per person GDP compared to $5000 per person in South East Queensland. Imagine what we can do with a little irrigation.
18.01.2022 The strong LNP team has a strong plan for a stronger regional Queensland. In Mount Isa, we’re delivering life-changing infrastructure to the region: Hulbert Bridge replacement, Mobile Tyre shredder, Doomadgee Airport Terminal upgrade, Boulia water capital works infrastructure and Burketown Wharf-Pontoon project. #strongerQLD #qldvotes #R4R #MountIsa
18.01.2022 I want to see science and innovation support our agricultural industry. If elected in Mount Isa, I’ll make sure our electorate can benefit from the Newman LNP Government plan for scientific research and the creation of high-tech, skilled jobs. 18.01.2022 Just left Dairy Farmers and watched a great game of rugby league. Go the Cowboys. Ref Jarrod Maxwell did a good job and both teams played a great clean game. Must say I am disappointed to hear Gallon won't be playing for NSW or Greg Bird. Might be a good clean game of footy, now that those two are out
16.01.2022 Through our Strong Choices plan we will have the funds for construction of up to 22 new schools across Queensland. If elected, I'll make sure Mount Isa kids have the best chance to get a great education. #strongerQLD #MountIsa
14.01.2022 Sport brings the community together, keeps our kids healthy and is great fun for families. If I’m elected on January 31, I'll work hard to make sure Mount Isa residents benefit from Get in the Game program. #strongerQLD #MountIsa
13.01.2022 MEDIA RELEASE: LNP committed to Hann Highway Work has begun on sealing a major 24-kilometre stretch of the highway in the Flinders Shire, demonstrating the LNP's commitment to north-west Queensland. If the LNP is re-elected, we will continue upgrades with a view to having the entire Hann sealed within four years.... Read more here: http://qld.lnp.org.au//01/LNP-committed-to-Hann-Highway.pdf
13.01.2022 I sure hope the Federal Government doesn't put the huge Live Export business with Indonesia at risk again over a couple of full time drug smugglers.
12.01.2022 Me talking to a very good old friend Clive Cairns while I was in Doomadgee on the campaign trail. Clive worked for my family many years ago when I was a kid. Taught me a few old bush skills that I might need if I get elected to the world of politics
11.01.2022 Have you seen my TV ad yet? Please help me spread the word that only the LNP has a strong team with a strong plan for Mount Isa by sharing this video with your friends. #strongerQLD #qldvotes #MountIsa
10.01.2022 I would just like to thank you all for your support and congratulate Rob Katter for his win.
10.01.2022 Great news for 640 jobs in Mount Isa and 140 in Townsville. LNP State Government have repealed the Environment Laws that Labor Kate Jones put in place which would have closed the SMELTER in Mt Isa. Minister Andrew Powell has saved the jobs that Labor were going to drive out of the North West. Only a team with the strength and vision of the LNP can do this. Independents can just sit and watch.
04.01.2022 Flinders River at Richmond 1 metre under the bridge and rising at 7.30 this morning. Probably flowing about 100,000 mgs a day at that level. When it goes just over the bridge it will flow 140,000 mgs a day. Great sight. O'Connell Creek off stream storage would have been full in 48 hours after this rain
04.01.2022 On the campaign trail at Birdsville with Darrrell from Idaho on far right, Vaughan Johnston, Jimmy Crombie, David Brook,Malcolm McClymont and self. Still working and visiting all the people in the electorate, small communities and large, as all of us are important.
02.01.2022 Senator Barry O'Sullivan - For Regional Queensland and self in Mornington Island and had good meeting with Mayor, Councillors and CEO and staff. If I was elected I believe I could help them considerably on many issues.
02.01.2022 FACT: Queensland Health now employs more than 1000 additional nurses and 800 additional doctors compared to Labor’s last full year in office. If re-elected, the Newman LNP Government would provide an extra 2650 doctors, nurses and health practitioners to treat Queenslanders. #strongerQLD #qldvotes #MountIsa
01.01.2022 What have we learned in this election? Only a Newman LNP Government has a fully costed long-term economic plan and a commitment to create 209,000 new jobs for Queensland. #strongerQLD #qldvotes #MountIsa
01.01.2022 In case you missed it, have a look at this open letter from the Australian Institute for Progress blasting Labor's false and misleading advertising strategy this campaign. The truth is only the LNP has a strong plan to create 209,000 jobs, to build the infrastructure our growing state needs, to provide better services and provide real cost of living relief for Queenslanders. It’s a plan we can truly afford because we've taken the Strong Choices, and it’s a plan only the LNP can deliver because we have a strong and stable team to see it through.
