03.01.2022 I am writing on behalf of a local 15yr old boy Damien, who requires our support to help pay for his father’s cremation. A month ago Damien’s father died, and un...fortunately due to Damien been under the age of 18 and the lack of family support, his father’s body has been stuck in the Perth morgue until Damien is able to pay for the cost of cremation. Damien currently has a job at a local fast food outlet and is putting as much of his wage (just over $8 an hour) towards the $4855 needed for the cremation. Damien frequents the Busselton Youth Precinct for support and in the last 6 months has really turned his life around for the better. It is so important the community shows this young man he is supported and provide him the opportunity to carry out the wishes of his deceased father. If you have the capacity to help support this young man with fundraising the cost of the cremation or know of an individual or group who may be able to assist, please pass this email onto them.
