He runs a cool cafe in Gladstone Park called Cafe Grande and is still open for takeaway making the best coffees you can get in the area! 05.01.2022 FINANCIAL HARDSHIP Over the course of the last two weeks, we have seen 7 of our own clients have their jobs terminated due to the COVID-19 pandemic Thankfully both the National Government and Banks have come together to help us out in what is considered a once in a lifetime pandemic.... Banks have agreed to freeze/ defer repayments on your home loan for up to 6months. Some banks are offering smaller periods of 3 months with an option to review at such a point. So should you put your repayments on hold? These measures are designed for people who are struggling an although anyone can have the relief, it is not recommended if you are not impacted as this increases the wait times for those who are heavily impacted. 01.01.2022 Coronavirus The word that has shaken the world and for many in Australia, are now left in a worse off financial position. Banks have come to the table, offering up to 6months deferring your repayments. While this may sound great, not everyone should be doing this... Remember, the devil is in the detail. This is not 6months off your home loan to never be paid back, your repayments are frozen for 6months, while interest is still calculated daily and added to the loan at the end of the 6months. This means that the loan balance you have today will have an extra 6months added to your loan, while shortening your legal loan term with the lender by 6months.
