25.01.2022 Tiny little Sophia is officially the youngest person that I've had visit me in the studio. She surprised her Mum and Dad and came a fair bit earlier than they originally planned for, but just look at how tiny and sweet she is!

23.01.2022 Ok - listen up Gents! Its the 13th December, so technically you still have 11 days before you start thinking about Christmas shopping, but I am giving you a heads up. Your significant other - what does she want? This! A gift voucher for portraits with her children. And you. Its literally all she wants. She deserves it. I mean, she even had to homeschool them for part of this year for goodness sake. You're cringing hard by now at the thought of having to wear some fo...rm of family uniform and sit in a stiflingly stuffy studio while softbox lights flash in your face, Area-52 style. Well - its not actually like that. At all. You'll pretty much just be required to have a shower, maybe run a comb through your hair and turn up. She'll have the rest sorted out well ahead of time, I assure you. After all, she has been dreaming of this for years. Your outfit is probably already picked, if I'm honest. - You hang out with your family - I'll photograph you doing it. Okies? It wont be anywhere near as hard as it is in your head. You can even bring a beer along if you like? Especially if its a Sunday afternoon... at the beach? Why not. Grab me one too. And some bubbles for the Mrs. ;) Anyway - Its easy. 11.01.2022 Passion and purpose are undeniably the driving forces behind our self worth and ultimately our happiness. I feel a heart full of gratitude for the experience of getting back in my happy zone today with this amazing colleague of mine, Lea. Wedding days offer me a space to create, craft with light, coordinate, communicate, smile, laugh, cry, congratulate, and tell the story of the pinnacle day in the love story of two amazing people. For many of us, this year has robbed us of ... so much, that we are left with overwhelming feelings of disappointment, despondency and heavy heartedness. Whilst I never take for granted the honour it is to share the most special, intimate and sacred moments in the lives of my clients, this glimmer of unrivaled joy remind me that we all have so much to look forward to beyond the fog. Hang in there. Lea and I will be SO ready, and SO excited to hang out with you on your special day, that I'll cry extra.... no charge. ;)

10.01.2022 Well before you combined your DNA to create a whole new human, there was a love between the two of you that changed how you feel about the world. I know things get hard once your children arrive. Its crazy. Your priorities change. You don't feel yourselves for so long afterwards - if, ever again. BUT, hang in there for each other. Tread lightly. Make allowances. Make sure your internal dialogue is positive towards your person. Smile even though you are frustrated or tired and find tiny moments in time to remind your original love that they are just that.
