24.01.2022 *What kind of paper do you use?* I use Doublette Crepe Paper for all my flowers, and source them from a small Australian business. They actually get their stock from Italy, so thank goodness for lower shipping rates! The Italian company is called Cartotecnica Rossi. What's special about this paper is that it can stretch up to double its original length and is both malleable and durable. ... Their paper is sourced from FSC certified forests, that are required to provide environmental, social and economic benefits. I love showing studio visitors my scrap paper box. It's such a unique material with endless potential! Come along and have a play ID: A person reaching into my box of colourful crepe paper scraps.

02.01.2022 *How did you start making paper flowers?* My usual answer to this question is: 5 years ago, in Melbourne, at my now-sister-in-law's wedding. I was fresh out of uni meeting my boyfriend's family for the first time. His sisters were busy making roses from coffee filter paper for the wedding arch, so I joined in. But really, my love affair with flowers started way before that. I remember drawing flowers, obsessing over their names, shaping them from clay, tissue paper, cardboa...rd, you name it, from a young age. It's like a lifelong research project that's gotten bigger and bigger, resulting in this little business that is really just an excuse to make flowers all day and share the craft with you. Tell me all about your passions, your dreams, your muse. There's nothing that excites me more than hearing about what you love and sharing in that joy together.
