25.01.2022 Talking on the radio today. Hope you can tune in.

24.01.2022 Excited about this one.

24.01.2022 Hey guys. This is a shout out to the more than 3200 people following our local news Facebook page. The Paper - South Gippsland news has reached more than 170, 0...00 people in the past four weeks. What started as a plan hatched in isolation (quite literally) has blossomed into something special. Journalist Matt Dunn was a solo act, but now two full time partners are along for the ride (a website designer, photographer and tech whiz and a social media and advertising specialist). In addition, The Paper has secured the services of two talented columnists and a laugh out loud cartoonist. At the moment everyone is working gratis - with the plan to launch an online news service for the region. It's a labour of love, but something we think could go the distance. It's no secret that regional papers (and papers in general) have been struggling for some time. For many, Covid-19 was a knockout blow. Many people share a cynical view of the media, but take it away and you get white noise and misinformation. The Paper will hold up the best journalistic traditions, honouring truth and community. As a start up we are hoping to see people get on board. Like us, share us and get in touch. Your stories should be everyone's stories. There is no opportunity to advertise yet, but the day will come. In the meantime, show your support for regional journalism by chipping in some money to our Go Fund Me campaign. A little will go a long, long way. #southgippsland #news #thepaper See more

22.01.2022 Super proud of The Paper - South Gippsland news's latest story on a proposed development at Mahers Landing. I'm fortunate to be working with some supremely talented people. See the full story: https://papernews.com.au//mahers-landing-development-set-t

21.01.2022 It was great to catch up with SES Leongatha Unit's Matt Saario tonight. Matt's team had a very big weekend, attending to about 40 calls across the region. The job's got a lot harder too, with members needing to adhere to strict rules around social distancing.

17.01.2022 A great Anzac Day article here by Leongatha historian Lyn Skillern. #lestweforget

14.01.2022 Interesting analysis of how people with OCD are coping with the coronavirus.

14.01.2022 Some levity in a time of crisis.

14.01.2022 Hello All My first story for start up enterprise, The Paper - facebook.com/paperforsthgippy Matt

11.01.2022 Well done to the local CFA volunteers for their efforts in Leongatha today.

10.01.2022 Hello everyone. Please share my post. If you're still employed, throw a few dollars my way.

05.01.2022 #Epidemiologists our new rockstars. Discuss. #covid19 #epidemiology

05.01.2022 Had a great interview with Bass Coast Health CEO Jan Child today.

03.01.2022 Can't wait for this one.

03.01.2022 Join us on ANZAC Day #STANDTO The Paper will live stream Leongatha trumpeter Natalie Stewart's performance of the Last Post at 6am this Saturday. RSL Victoria ...is among a number of organisations calling on people to come out in their driveways at 6am on April 25 to observe a minute's silence. We may be in the midst of a global pandemic, but nothing, it seems, will diminish the Anzac spirit. Lest we forget. To commemorate Anzac Day in lockdown, The Paper's resident cartoonist Grob has produced a very special commemorative artwork. Share it around. We think it's something everyone deserves to see. To check out more of Grob's work go to www.instagram.com/grobcartoons/ #musicformateship #thepaper #lestweforget

01.01.2022 Some fresh news from The Paper.
