18.01.2022 CLIENT SPOTLIGHT You may have heard me scream G MY MAN when this guy rolls into the building! Must admit, this response from him hit me in the feels, and I hope it resonates with a few more as well! If you don’t know already, this is Gian. ... Everyone knows or calls me as G or Gman. I am a Nurse Specialist so health and well-being is utmost important for me. I am a so-called health hero, in todays age. But I always believe that we all are, if we believe and set our minds to it. If you think you can achieve your health goals this year, you need to trust the process. My ideal first date would be a restaurant where you do not need to scan a QR code and register I train because I experienced body shaming first-hand. So if you experienced this as well, it is up to you to change their perception towards us. If you forego with a strict dieting, so be it! But a good healthy and sweaty exercise will help burn unwanted fats more. Why JP FIT? This is why I love training with Persist fitness. Josh knows the struggle of each of us and he puts his feet into our shoes. He understands what we are all going through with our physical health and how we want to change things. We want to thank everyone for all of the messages and support during 2020, it was a very different first year than some have experienced, but like us, we hope you found the light through the darkness. This 4 week block was full of volume in three ways! 1 The amount of reps we hit 2 The amount of weight we lifted! 3 And how long we lifted it!!... 08.01.2022 CLIENT SPOTLIGHT One of our regulars and day 1’ers! If you have not met her yet, you have just been plain unlucky! This is Adrianne, an early childhood teacher who loves to have fun, a good chat and a good workout! I am the one the trainer is usually telling to stop talking or asking what are you doing... My ideal first date would be anything that involves food and also the sun! The one thing you should know about me is growing up I never exercised and cared about myself physically and mentally. People who have known me for a long time still can’t get over how much I love working out/ have so much energy. Why JP FIT? I have now been training with Josh for two years now. Previously I trained at gyms where I had to motivate myself to join a class or do my own workout which never really worked for me after a while. I hit a big plateau for a long period of time however when I met josh and started training with him wow. Someone who 100% cares about his clients and looks at each person individually. He called me to make sure I would show up to morning classes and kept me accountable to myself when I had a busy routine. That feeling of a brutal workout but feeling great for hours later got me hooked.I am never bored, always challenged and encouraged 110%. The warm feeling for entering the gym never leaves and couldn’t recommend him enough. I have never loved working out so consistently before. I am not myself if I haven’t done a bootcamp session for a few days. Josh has changed my whole perception of physical and mental well-being. Want to meet her?! 06.01.2022 CLIENT SPOTLIGHT One of our day oner’s!! Not only have we known each other since high school, I have had the privilege to watch her turn into a stone cold beast!!! Been absolutely pleasure to continue to train you. A great mate, and an even better person! This is Holly! ... One thing people should know is that I’m a sucker for a vanilla latte and I wouldn’t be able to do my job without them (emergency nurse ) My ideal first date is a nice dinner and drink followed by a walk on the beach I train because it leaves me feeling amazing! Not only getting stronger, but fitter each and every session. Why JP FIT? I choose JP Fit because not only is Josh a great friend but an even better trainer! We just want to wish V all the best in her efforts this Sunday, as she embarks on a triathlon! Hope you kill it my man!... Here is some info behind this face! This is V! I’m a HR Professional by day. I love anything True Crime related - podcast/ book/ doco or Paul Holes (he’s a must for any true crime fan) and to knit by night! The one thing can trip over flat concrete at any moment! The ideal first date Margaritas, live music and lots of laughs. I train because I’m not like I used to be. I used to play and train netball 6 days a week until I broke my leg. Yep, during a game! Now I need to keep fit and stay away from the contact sports. I moved back to my love of swimming and now have started competing in triathlons and would love to one day complete an Ironman. Why JP Fit? I met Josh at another venue and loved his sessions, I’ve never felt more included or supported by a trainer so training at persist fit only makes sense!
