15.01.2022 At the start of the year I closed up the business due to failing mental health. Probably a good thing I did because Covid visited Australia and decided to stay for a while But it also presented a great opportunity to take a step back, work on myself, reset and now opening up for weekends only.... My PT business is always where my career focus will be. Detailing (and anything car related) is always a side hustle ;) So, with that being said - JR Auto Detailing is preparing to reopen and we are now using the best of the best, Bowden's Own for all detailing work. We will be taking on new clients in November and aiming to do 1 to 2 cars on the weekends only. Stay tuned for the next update when we announce our reopening special :)

02.01.2022 UPDATE FOR RE-OPENING The premier has stated yesterday that the road to normalised life is going to be a little slower than expected. Whatever each of us think about this (and how Dan Andrews has run the show) is irrelevant right now.... What is relevant is where we stand with respect to detailing and car care. I will assume that we will still have the 5klm radius limit when the government releases the next stage of restrictions easing. This means mobile detailing wont be happening for a while (gives us more time to get the setup ready). But I am hoping that they will say its ok to resume work where there is minimal person to person contact As far as what we are currently doing to get the business re-opened - we have a new set of procedures so clients know exactly what is happening with the car. As per the image below, we will have a comprehensive checklist where everything will be noted so that clients know what their car is getting, what the approximate time frame is, photos of before, progress and after. In addition to this, we will also help take photos of cars that are going to be sold ** Just a little extra on the house ** Client satisfaction is our priority, so with our re-launch everything is going to be done with quality products. After doing much research, we have switched from Auto Glym to Bowden's Own Premium Car Care. While Auto Glym were great products, Bowden's gives just that extra bit more to create better quality finishes & their customer reviews have been nothing short of spectacular. ** Please note that we don't do major paint fixes etc - but not discounting that in the future it maybe part of what we do for correction stages ** We are currently taking in EOI for work done.
