25.01.2022 A stunning back verandah and decking combo finished off at Novar Gardens in time for the warmer weather and BBQs. This is the same verandah that we posted last week. It just needs to be stained and it’s good to go!

24.01.2022 Jarrad has been working hard this week to finish off this verandah at Banksia Park for a lovely couple. Located at the side of the house they have waited a long time to be able to enjoy their outdoor space in all weather. It fits in great with the existing roof line of the house.

22.01.2022 We are very happy with our new sign right under the score board at Happy Valley Sports Park, we also have a couple of signs inside and outside the clubrooms! Go the Vikings!

21.01.2022 Were up early for the Dawn Driveway service this morning. Its hard to try and comprehend the sacrifice that the ANZACs made, it makes it even more significant in times like these, we cant go to get our nails done and people are losing their minds, its hard to imagine dying on a distance shore under wartime conditions.

21.01.2022 Jarrad got back to his roots this week building a small timber gable for a lovely couple in Aberfoyle Park. I enjoyed his clothes smelling like timber again, not the splinters all through his socks though.

21.01.2022 The Master and his Apprentice. Jarrad has taken Alex to work with him today so he can get out of the house and get some fresh air. Looking forward to no fighting by the kids for the next few hours! Hopefully Alex doesnt get bored and tired too quickly!

20.01.2022 $1000 DONATED Back in January when the fires were causing devastating destruction around Australia we donated $250 to the CFS Foundation and vowed to donated $150 for every deposit we received between then and the end of the Fire Ban Season on April 15th. COVID-19 has taken a massive hit to the work we would normally have coming onto our books but a promise is a promise so today we donated the final amount. This current situation is going to be around for a while but the devastating fires are a permanent Summer threat.

19.01.2022 Finished off the week with finishing this gable in Flagstaff Hill. Check out those straight lines! It would be great to try to relax this weekend if we could. Keep well and stay a safe distance from everyone.

17.01.2022 Well theres the first of many $150 donations (in addition to our initial $250) to the CFS Foundation. We said that for every deposit we receive between now and the end of the Fire Ban Season (30th April) we would donate $150. They do an amazing job! We woke up this morning to a bad smoke haze, its becoming so normal this summer that its scary!

17.01.2022 Emma and I are getting our hands dirty today helping Jarrad finish off this carport in Flagstaff Hill (luckily shes not crawling yet). The owners wanted brick pillars and were lucky enough to match their existing house bricks. The end product will look amazing!

17.01.2022 Its been a very devastating time in Australia recently and will continue to be so for months to come. Jarrad and I feel incredibly helpless so today we donated $250 to the CFS Foundation here in SA, we also commit that from every deposit received until the end of the Fire Ban Season (April 30th) we will donate a further $150. 16.01.2022 A few weeks ago we built this verandah for an awesome family at Woodcroft. They’ve finished decorating the area and it looks amazing. They’ve covered the rumpus room wall, got some new outdoor furniture and it’s now set for summer entertaining!

14.01.2022 Working at Happy Valley this week to install this Fielders Centenary Gable Verandah for a lovely couple. The owners requested SmartPiu sheeting with the PanelPiu infills.

13.01.2022 After last nights announcement by the Government, Jarrad and I decided that the best thing for us is to keep the kids at home and Homeschool. We intend to run business as usual and you can rest assured we are now in isolation, since Jarrad works alone, we are doing our best to protect our customers against this virus. Please be patient with us getting back to you if you email or call. Three kids (10, 5 and 1) and trying to run the business dont really go hand in hand very well. Thank you for your support.

12.01.2022 A few years ago we did a SolarSpan verandah at a townhouse in Reynella. New neighbours have moved in to the one next door and wanted one exactly the same. So here we are. Downlights installed by Galleon Electrical while were installing the sheets (thanks for the help Steve!)

10.01.2022 Well its going to be a disgusting day! Jarrad wont be at work today (and the kids school & kindy are closed) so we will be spending the day catching up on quotes. If you know the measurements youre after give me a call on 0423 287 767 and as long as the power doesnt go out well get you a quote by then end of the day.

10.01.2022 The BOM are predicting up to a possible 55mm of rain over Friday and Saturday, if you havent checked already, please make sure your gutters and downpipes are free from leaves and muck. More often than not it is because these are blocked that your verandah or carport will spring a leak. Jarrad likes nothing more than coming to check a leak when its just simple maintenance **call out fee applies if the leak is a result of overflowing gutters caused by the above.

09.01.2022 Give the Tradies a break this week, we know you want it done before Christmas but we certainly would never expect anyone to work all day outside in this heat and we hope you dont either. If it has to wait till the New Year then so be it, you cant change the weather.

07.01.2022 Thank you for your support everyone, weve had a great year and cant wait to see what 2020 brings. After this afternoon we will be shutting down until Monday 13th of Jan. 04.01.2022 We dont usually work with timber but Jarrad got back to his roots this week and built a porch for a lovely customer in Unley. It really fits in well with the house. Great job! *** it was only a small job, hence why were were able to do it, we dont do large verandahs or carports in timber, for those we use steel.

01.01.2022 Another re-roof of a verandah finished off this week. The owners complained before we started that their verandah was really noisy. No sound tape was ever installed so not only do the owners have a lovely new leak free outdoor space but they can now enjoy some peace and quiet out there too!
