25.01.2022 I love traveling, I love exploring hospitality venues, food stores and pretty much anything that revolves around food. Last year I was lucky enough to explore Mexico and Cuba and experience their culture and food. Earlier this year I traveled to Sydney and Melbourne discovering cafes, restaurants and grocers that made me fall more in love with Australia's food scene. With the current restrictions and the possibility of limited travel I have been thinking about how I can still explore. I've always been a city girl.. so I've started to think about a little trip with my two country girls to explore the produce the grows in our own backyard... we are thinking, once restrictions lift, to road trip through Toowoomba & the Scenic Rim to NSW... 23.01.2022 I get inspiration for recipes from so many places, one of my most recent favourite is @bonappetitmag. For my birthday my cousin @harrisdemetriou got me a subscription and I find myself spending nights scrolling through YouTube watching their episodes. Today Harris and I baked the Bon Appetit Best Chocolate Chip cooking and it didn't disappoint Perfect afternoon tea to share with our Yiayia with a cup of tea.

20.01.2022 The most scrumptious blueberry oat muffins I ever did try I developed this recipe for the Tammy Fit App @tammyhembrowfitness. Early this year I worked with the Tammy Fit App to develop a range of recipes in line with their objectives for their customers. It was so much fun! 18.01.2022 Reminiscing about that one time I flew half way across the world to Mykonos to cater. If that wasn't a dream I don't know what is. I spent 9 incredible days with @beginningboutique @saraht_bb & @jadelemoigne and a groups of incredible human beings. I had to pinch myself every morning I woke up looking out at the sea preparing breakfast. @ Brisbane, Queensland, Australia

Between my new projects, working with some clients in the hospitality industry and planning the possible re-open of @missblisstreats I have been a little busy I was thinking of possibly setting up a little grocer out the front of Miss Bliss when we re-open with some of my favourite local products and some of my favourite pickled condiments or jams. 16.01.2022 Winter favourites If you're like me when winter rolls around the foods I consume starts to change... and possibly the frequency I eat I tend to reach for the heavier, carb-ier foods, I forget to drink enough water and my love for baking rises x 1000. The weather in Toowoomba didn't help as we drove through the other week. My first port of call was @thebakersduck. The girls and I grabbed a selection of goodies and headed for some sunshine to enjoy. Hands down my favourite had to be their pork & apple sausage roll During ISO I spent some time creating a delicious home-made sausage roll very similar (just ask @graceelizabethimages), you can find it in my Essentials Digital Cookbook via the link in my bio. 13.01.2022 What else are weekends made for? Italian inspired antipasto platters are my go-to quick fix when I have friends coming over and haven't had time to prepare anything. I have 5 rules I follow when putting together a platter; . 1. Pick your platters. Play with different heights, shapes & sizes. 2. Meats & Cheeses. I stick to 2 types of meats and one gourmet cheese (depending on the number of people). Currently, I'm loving smoked mozzarella. 3. Savoury bites. Olives, gr...illed vegetables, hummus & nuts are my go-to! 4. Sweet treats. Black grapes , local honeycomb, figs and dried fruit. 5. Bread & crackers. 08.01.2022 JOURNAL THREE: This is my reality // link in bio // Last year Ash & Gab from @wearesoba asked me to be part of their monthly campaign shoot as a member. As nervous as I was about shooting in swimwear, I was more nervous about the questions they asked me to read over before the day. Each month revolves around a theme, and this particular month the theme was 'timelessness' - at this time in my life, I felt anything but timeless. As most of you have probably heard in your life... my biological clock was 'ticking' For me to feel completely timeless I knew there was one thing to consider, and that's my fertility as a female. If you've been following along for a while, I started to share my journey to preserve my fertility, in other words, freeze my eggs But the CORONOA-COASTER came along and f*@ked it all up. Well, in the past few weeks, I decided to put my big gal pants on and get everything going again. It takes vulnerability, but the more we talk about these things, the less taboo they become. 08.01.2022 Winter is well & truly here Days are noticeably shorter, the temperature has dropped, and my lunch and snack options that usually keep me fueled until dinner just arent cutting it lately. Im hungrier in general and carb-rich foods just seem to taste better. There is no doubt about it, ravioli is one of my favourite winter dishes. 05.01.2022 You can always count on banana bread to please the crowd. On Monday I served my Essentials Banana Bread mix for the Sustainable Table at @ellasfarm using my favourite @kiallapurefoods spelt flour, @cominosolivegroves olive oil and beautiful organic bananas from the farm. I also served it with a side of macadamia maple butter to top it off. This is possibly the easiest banana bread you will ever bake, all you need is overripe bananas and olive oil. 03.01.2022 Yesterday was a dream A few weeks ago @drlibbyforsyth came to me with an idea, a farm tour & long lunch feast at Ellas permaculture farm. The aim is to share with locals the beauty of growing produce and how to honour the food through simple cooking. Tester we hosted our first Sustainable Table for 20 beautiful guests.
