Just a few reminders for all those attending; -Please remember to sign in to the venue on your way in to help with contact tracing if required. -Term fees can be payed downstairs at the front desk.... -We have a limit of 34 people in the judo room, so we ask where possible for parents to please wait outside. -We will have clean uniforms available to be borrowed by new students. Also we will have uniforms available for purchase. Any questions or problems please don't hesitate to speak to Jake or Paul.

25.01.2022 So happy to announce that classes will be resuming again for 2021 in Term 1! Friday the 29th of January will be our first class back. This year we are making some changes and revamping our class structure. For Term 1 Classes will be running every Friday as follows:... 5pm-6pm Junior Boys and Girls Ages 5-10 (Prep to Year 4) 6pm - 7pm Senior Boys and Girls Ages 11-14 (Year 5 Year 8) 7pm-8:30pm Teens and adults Ages 15+ (Year 9 Adult) We will require everybody to sign up at the front desk. The cost for the term is $67 Any questions or enquires you can reach us through the Facebook page. Please spread the word, and we are excited to welcome everyone back on the mat!

23.01.2022 Due to the on going COVID 19 situation and in the interest of keeping everybody safe and to minimise the risk for our members, the club coaches have decided to keep classes suspended for all of term 3. Fingers crossed that over the next couple months the virus will slow and we will look to return at the start of term 4. Hope everyone is keeping safe and we look forward to seeing you all when we are able to return!

16.01.2022 Thanks to all our students and parents for a great start to 2021. It has been great to see lots of new and returning faces on the judo mat! The standard of judo has been very good and all the coaches are very happy with how everyone is progressing. Last Friday was our last training of the term, as next Friday is a public holiday and we then break for the school holidays. The first session back for term 2 will be on Friday the 23rd of April. We also want to wish all the best ...to Madeline, Joschka and Annika as they are moving back to Germany next month. Safe travels and we hope to see you back sometime in the future! We hope everyone has a safe and happy Easter, and relaxing holidays and will see you all back next term.

11.01.2022 *FUNDRAISING SILENT AUCTION* The side of Judo a lot of people don't see is the financial side. To succeed in Judo you must train and compete with the best of th...e best. Unfortunately as Judo is such a small sport in Australia, we must travel overseas to seek out the best. While we are partly funded for some trips, the reminder of it we have to make up ourselves. This coupled with the everyday costs of full time training, quickly adds up to tens of thousands of dollars every year. Working part time jobs around training is needed to pay for some of this, but it is not enough, with a lot of full time judoka in Australia resorting to begging and borrowing to make up the rest. So to help try and raise some funds for my next overseas block of training and competition, I've decided to hold a silent auction. This gives you a chance to get your hands on some Olympic and Commonwealth Games gear, and support my judo career as well, as I push on towards the 2020 Olympic Games. To bid, email me at [email protected] or private message me here on Facebook. All bids will be kept confidential, and I will update the current prices every few days here on Facebook. Bidding finishes on Sunday the 26th at Midnight. Postage can be arranged for interstate bidders. Even if you're not interested in bidding, if you could share this post I will be massively grateful.
