13.01.2022 Hello everyone! A quick note to say the next three livestreams have been PUSHED BACK ONE WEEK. The reason: I cannot play violin at the moment as my finger is swollen due to a bee sting. HOWEVER, in place of the concert that was supposed to be this week, I will share a video of a performance I was involved in prior to Covid-19 lockdowns!... I'LL SEE YOU ALL LIVE on: May 22nd, 7pm May 29th, 7pm June 5th, 7pm

11.01.2022 Hello everyone! Just a quick note to say I'm hosting another livestream tonight (May 29th) with a little bit of solo Bach! Live music is a wonderful thing as you can hear the same piece over a few concerts, but with different interpretations. Each concert is a surprise! Tonight, I'll do a mini-explanation of how I've interpreted Bach's gigue from Partita No.2 in D minor. 7pm tonight, via this page!!

11.01.2022 This year, myself along with my fellow Queensland Conservatorium students Claire Aika, Isabel Matthews, Ray Lin and Ashlea Claire devised a new social enterprise project named MUSE (Musicianship, Unity, Success, Expression) under the Griffith ENACTUS club. The aim of the project is to provide instruments and music education to those who don't have access to it due to financial and resource barriers. We're looking at putting on a hybrid in-person/streamed concert in the upcoming months - like the page to keep updated! Griffith Enactus: MUSE

08.01.2022 MUSIC STARTS AT 9 mins 25 seconds INTRO TO THE PIECE STARTS at 2 mins 30 seconds Please please please check out the Australian Youth Orchestra. It is a truly amazing organisation propelling the future of classical music in Australia!

Tonight we are having a break, but we will be back next Friday at 7pm for another series of mini concerts. The event page will be up on the weekend - make sure to let us know if you're coming! For the meanwhile, stay healthy and take care.

08.01.2022 Pretty keen to be playing with Southern Cross Soloists at the Gold Coast Bleach Festival this Sunday! It's a free event (rego required), so if you're in the area, be sure to come along! More details here: https://bleachfestival.com.au/events/botanic-gardens/

07.01.2022 Today was the first Anzac Day that I haven't been able to go to a service to. Despite the circumstances, Australians from all over the country stood at their driveways/balconies/living rooms to commemorate our ANZACs. Although I'm not a bugle player, I was glad to play the Last Post on violin at 6am today. Thank you to Queensland Youth Orchestras for sharing this idea and providing sheet music for all instruments!

07.01.2022 Earlier this year, I felt so privileged to be in a string quartet with Noah Lawrence, Robert Smith and Aidan Filshie at the Australian Youth Orchestra's National Music Camp! This is the live recording of Beethoven's String Quartet No. 1 in F, Op. 18, movements II and IV. I hope you enjoy as much as we did playing this quartet!

06.01.2022 Although I can't be with you live tonight, I'm excited to share this video from a Clocked Out concert I was involved in on International Women's Day this year! This is Hilary Kleinig's thought-provoking piece called 'For those who've come across the seas'.

05.01.2022 Welcome to Loungeroom Livestreams! Repertoire for tonight: Prelude Op.23 No.10 - Rachmaninoff Introduction and Rondo Capriccioso - Saint Saëns

05.01.2022 Very keen to be performing in and organising this concert alongside the wonderful Griffith Enactus: MUSE team in two weeks time! Funds are going towards making music more accessible to everyone, regardless of financial and resource barriers. Everyone should at least have the opportunity to give music a go. There will be some fantastic Queensland Conservatorium performers featured including Dakotah Eve Love, Francis Atkins, Claire Aika and more, so make sure to get a ticket before they go (only about 25 tickets left at the moment)!
