08.01.2022 I was on Sunrise this morning talking about inheritance and the impact on children. There's a concept in behavioral finance where windfall amounts like the lotto, inheritance, tax return money is often treated differently by the brain compared to money that's been hard earned and saved. Often windfall amounts feel like "free money" people use it different to their "normal money". It doesn't make sense because $100 should be $100 whether it's earned through work or won. Turns out our brains care how we receive the money which also helps determine how we spend that money. https://7news.com.au//the-super-rich-not-leaving-a-single-
