25.01.2022 Tonight - 7pm - The Apple Farm. I’ve been looking forward to the Bubbles & Brushes event ever since I announced it a few weeks back. By the sounds of it, you guys were too because it sold out in 12 hours! I’ve just bought some gorgeous flowers from @shesapplesmarketmtgambier to get our creative juices flowing, just like this stunning bunch of tulips. See you there if you managed to snag a ticket!

23.01.2022 I’ve been spending my Tuesday mornings with a bunch of delightful women. I’m teaching them how to paint and they’re teaching me lessons in parenting and life. Our conversations today were deep and complex - just the way I like them! Thank you ladies, I really enjoy your company.

12.01.2022 Hi there! Come along and paint a planter with me this Sunday 29/11 at The Riddoch. This 2-hour workshop will teach you basic preparation of painting on terracotta using acrylic paint. And the pots... they are sourced from Tuscany! A wonderfully smooth surface means you can paint away easily. And did I mention that the pot is yours to keep or gift to someone? Of course it is... No painting experience is necessary. All materials supplied. Suitable for ages 14+. Only 10 spots available and tickets are available via The Riddoch on 8721 2563. $45 per person.

11.01.2022 Yesterday I put the brush to a whopping canvas that has sat in my studio for a long while. It’s interesting actually... as soon as I heard that South Australia would go into a 6-day isolation I felt like I was granted permission to take the foot off the accelerator and hone back into my creativity. From now, I’ll be changing my thinking around my creative time because for me, it’s essential to my being to express it. I don’t need permission. Back to the painting it’s 100 x 150cm of joyous colour, the subject is one of my favorite flowers (the hakea) and I can’t show it to you until I can get to a store to buy art supplies!! So stay tuned... this one will be for sale!

09.01.2022 Things I found on my walk... leaves, flowers, cows, a hare, an earthworm, beautiful bark and feathers galore. Understanding and practicing gratitude is being thankful for all that we have. This includes our experiences too - being thankful for seeing an amazing sunset or watching a spider weave it’s web. It’s seeing the glory in the smallest of things. If we cannot be grateful then no matter how much we have of anything, we will never arrive at happiness. So I mentioned earlier that I see feathers... I always pause at the moment of finding one to revisit my thoughts at that time. I’d love to hear what others see as little indicators of their journey

07.01.2022 Have you heard me say that nature never fails to provide a perfect color palette? Here’s proof. It’s fact. These three random leaves that got my attention on a rather windy walk today couldn’t possibly complement each other any more.

04.01.2022 Come paint a planter with me! Only four places left in this workshop. Next weekend!
