08.01.2022 In these uncertain times, there’s one thing we’re certain of: we will uphold the Pinky Promise that we have made to our JUMP! community. Perhaps the most vital part of our Pinky Promise at this time is to keep our swim school clean, tidy and hygienic. We’ve enhanced our strict hygiene standards even further to ensure we’re meeting the hygiene and social distancing guidelines that’ve been set by the Australian Government. Our second Pinky Promise is to only teach a maximum of ...two lessons at a time. We run small classes in our private centre, with no more than six students per class, and in some classes as few as three. This means we have very low patronage at any one time. Finally, we promise to teach your child with love and care as if they were our own. We’ll continue to provide high quality swimming lessons to your little ones, ensuring a safe environment, for as long as the Government deems it safe to do so. Our ducks are focused on breath control and mobility by practicing "Jelly on a Plate" Ducks climb onto a floating mat before entering... the water and taking a short swim to mum or dad. Then it's back to the mat to climb out of the water. 01.01.2022 Enrolling kids in swimming lessons needs to be at the top of every parent’s to do list. Why? We usually see a loss in confidence & skill if children have more than three weeks off swimming lessons. Considering most Victorian children have had more than six months off, the loss in confidence and basic, life-saving skills is concerning. There are a few things you can do to ensure your kids safety around water: - Get in touch with us as soon as you can to secure your child’s enrolment. - Be on heightened alert around water. Ideally, be in the water with your kids. - Talk to your kids actively about water safety & the fact they may need a bit of practice before they’re back to swimming at the same level they were earlier in the year.
