25.01.2022 This week in our Mindful Insights webinars we looked at the word Abundance. What does Abundance mean to You? It is a huge amount of something, a big quantity and having plenty.... What symbols come to mind? A nice house, car, money, holidays. What about friends, love, health, generosity and happiness? And what do you do with purpose that would help you create abundance in your life? It could be just the little things. Practicing gratitude, smiling, paying a complement, meditation. How does abundance positively affect your life? Improves relationships give you confidence A sense of security Happiness & Joy Allowing even more generosity Feeling satisfied What do you have in your life that is abundant? This week, make a point each day to acknowledge something you have of abundance. Fresh Air, Food, the joy of sight. I am sure you can add so much more.

13.01.2022 I know how hard it can be at the best of times when routines change to maintain your exercise. And our routines, for a lot of us, are changing again. Whether you are working from home or supervising kid's home schooling or navigating the challenges of going to work. It is really important to make sure you have a purpose and create a new routine over the next 6 weeks. And exercise is an important aspect of that.... Jumpt has live sessions you can access via zoom. I acknowledge these sessions may not be as fun as in person, however using fitness sessions via zoom has many benefits that will get you through the next 6 weeks....... - I can still see what you are doing - We can still interact with each other - You are maintaining your fitness - You can maintain your weight - Gives you some structure to your day - Stress relief from the kids - A break from prolonged sitting (long periods of sitting is as bad as smoking) - Someone else is creating the workouts - Maintaining connection with others - Helps with your mental health, staying positive and happy - Give you something to look forward to - Give you something else to think about - You don't have to wear a mask That's just to name a few. Days and Times are as follows and if there is a demand for another time I am happy to add another session. I am looking to put on a session on Monday and / or Friday at 9am. We chatted about the most Joyful times in our lives and the worst times in our lives and what was it that made them the most joyful and the worst. What we value in life plays a big part in our decisions and the actions we take. And when we have a clearer picture the values that are important to us, it is easier to make decisions.... Being confused or conflicted can highlight values that are conflicting, which may be why it is hard to make that final decision. By chatting about the things we loved doing and the things we disliked, we got a deeper understanding of what is important to us and why. To join our Mindful Insights Webinars PM me. Comparing ourselves to others was one of the thoughts that came to mind and also the idea of wanting continuos improvement. 03.01.2022 This week in our Mindful Insights webinar we chatted about Connection and what that means to us. In the environment that we find ourselves this year, some forms of connection have been lost while other forms of connection have increased or have been creatively adapted. While it may be dissappointing, frustrating or sad that we are restricted in seeing and connecting with family and friends, we can have comfort in the knowledge that there are still many ways to connect even wh...en we are apart. To stay focused on what we dont have will only add to our feelings of worry and concern. We may not be able to connect in person but there are still lots of moments of connection that we may overlook. We are so fortunate that technology allows us to connect on a level that 20 years ago we would never have been able to do. Here are some ideas that we came up with that contribute to the "feeling" of connection: 1 - Listening- really take the time to be present and listen to the person you are talking to. Including in person, over the telephone on via online video chat. How do you know when someone is listening? Eye contact, nodding, agreeing with a Mmm or Ohh, restating what they have said, asking another question, being interested in what the other is saying. 2 - Show people you are thinking of them - send them a text message, a voice message, tag them in a post or go the old fashioned way -call them on the phone or send them a letter in the post. 3 - Notice people's body language - our body can say more than our words. Pay attention to your own body language. Do you face the person? Are you relaxed? Are you giving them your full attention? Even when on the phone. 4 - Pay someone a complement, a positive comment or a smile - It could be the person at the supermarket or the person you buy your coffee from. 5 - Be open and honest with the person you are talking to. Its amazing the conversations that can be had. So what does connection mean to you? How do you connect when you are not connecting in person?
