25.01.2022 Did you know that farmers around our region at the moment are sowing canola? Sowing now results in flowering around August and September with harvest starting f...rom November. Our region produces almost 1/3 of all the canola produced in NSW. Add the Canola Trail to your list of places to visit once travel restrictions have been lifted. #canolatrail #canoladreaming Visit Coolamon Shire You, Me and Junee Visit Temora

13.01.2022 It’s that time of year when the Riverina’s golden triangle glows and visitors come from near and far to snap the perfect shot of the canola in bloom. This ...year, thanks to COVID-19, it’ll be visitors from near rather than far but boy, are they in for a treat. Farmers say it’s the best season they’ve had in years, which means their crops are bigger and brighter For more: https://ab.co/2CoZB7u

We would love... feedback from people as to what they want their festival to look like, and include. Please post here, or message us via direct messages or email [email protected]. 05.01.2022 CANOLA TRAIL TRAFFIC INCREASING... Over the last couple of days we've noticed an increase in followers, hello! Welcome to the #canolatrail. A self-drive tour around the shires of Junee, Temora and Coolamon. Located in the Riverina region of NSW Canola is currently in full flower and will be for the rest of September and early October. After that it will really depend on weather and when farmers start harvest ... Throughout the Canola Trail you'll find many things to see and do, places to eat and accommodation options There are no spots to take photos in the canola as it belongs to farmers. We encourage visitors to stop road side and take photos. We promise you'll get amazing photos Visit www.canolatrail.com for more information Please don't jump fences and enter property unless you have permission from the farmer During this current time, please always follow NSW Health guidelines and travel restrictions. Please always follow social distancing and recommended hygiene practies. Please don't travel if you are near or know people within a COVID-19 hotspot. Photo Credit: Destination NSW See more
