25.01.2022 I made my final donation to the #firstnationsbedtimestorieschallenge tonight, and in just under 6 weeks, I beat my original goal of $500!! We more than doubled it with a final total of $1090 dollarbucks and I am so happy and so proud. That is over 200 orders through liddle old @tirion_com which equates to more than 1000 masks. You read that right. With an AVERAGE of 4 masks per order, I must have said a gratitude prayer about twice a day, and a lot of swear words per night. I...’m so beat, but so grateful and so proud of myself and my sweet little fam for working together to support mummy in her makeshift home studio, with zero ergonomics or OHS considerations I can finally return to my luscious warehouse studio from next week, where I have a brand spankin’ new cover stitch machine and 5 thread overlocker waiting for me to put to use. Just in time to start churning through these Stocking and Sack orders in time for the december Yuletide postal rush. 25.01.2022 Bloopers!? Photographing wraps/creating content is HARD!? Especially since the nearly 3yo has decided that frustrated mummy is the FUNNIEST THING ON EARTH YOU GUYS!! She pops her leg and slips out the bottom; she climbs me like a tree and clambers out the top and over my shoulder. She looks at the camera when I ask her to look at the caterpillar over my shoulder, and she looks away when I ask her to look at the camera.. 24.01.2022 In lockdown last year I made the entire upper case alphabet in three dimensions out of wool felt, using cereal boxes as the inner template. They have proven to be incredibly useful for remote-learning. Cricket gifted the ‘A’ to a friend so here is Raven improvising with our Tiny-Paper-Pants-A, to make words utilising the digraph ‘Qu’ the pants are a 3d pattern from a design set I bought for Cricket.
