These clinics are for novice and competent riders who wish to introduce their horses to cattle in a safe, controlled environment. Participants will learn how to move small groups of cattle, cut single animals out of a group, work cattle up and down a fence, and more! We will be focusing on learning how cattle and horses respond to pressure, and how to use that knowledge to increase you and your horses’ cattle working capabilities. 12.01.2022 We are excited to have a full weekend of horse clinics. We have 2 Just Equus Horse Clinic this week: 1. Groundwork & Obstacles Clinic, Saturday 10th April (Sold Out) 2. Kids Foundation Clinic, Sunday 11th April (1 Spot Left)... Groundwork & Obstacle Clinic are designed for riders to improve on their horsemanship on the ground and with obstacles. The groundwork component is learning how to control their horse from the ground so the rider can gain respect and the obstacles component helps the riders to direct their horses through obstacles gaining their confidence. Kids Foundation Horse Clinics are specifically catered to riders under the age of 16. These clinics are suitable for riders wanting to improve their confidence, communication and understanding. Ground work and ridden exercises include; back up, soft feel, flexion, disengaging hind end, lunging, walk and trot transition, and obstacles.
