25.01.2022 Everyone has a guilty pleasure. Some are more secret than others .. maybe its a hot chip and gravy roll, perhaps its a sneaky glass of wine in a hot bath. What is yours ?

24.01.2022 A LETTER TO MY YOUNGER SELF .. AGED 17. Dear Self, you are enough. Stop trying to be something or someone that is not you. Stop pining for boys that are not meant to be yours and be good to yourself.... Keep building on your skills and keep that long term goal to travel and see parts of the world before you find someone meant for you. He will come along, not when your looking but when you are least likely to find him. He is worth the wait and is very much worthy of all you have to give. Keep your style and crazy ways, they are what make you you. Don't conform, be loud, be kind to everyone, talk to everyone that you have the chance to (yes even the stranger on the plane that smiles at you from across the rows when you announce your travelling overseas for the first time on your own!). Be polite, be fun and take chances. Say yes to all the new adventures but stay safe - stay away from Mexico. Take in all those life lessons that you hear when you chat to others and try to make them sink in in your 'I know everything' 17 year old mind. News Flash - you dont! - but you will learn this lesson the hard way and need to start over more than once to figure that one out. Accept all the jobs opportunities, learn all the skills you can. If you don't know something, talk up and ask for help. Make friends, keep your old ones and learn to give as well as take in a friendship and on a personal level. Give time to those less fortunate by volunteering, sure right now you have other things you think are more important - it will give you the fulfilment in your heart that you are looking for as a born helper. Call your grandparents, ask them questions and take lots of photos together and of them alone. One day they wont be around and your own children wont get to meet them. You will need to introduce them to "Ninny' and 'Poppy' from your own experiences and what you remember. Write them down. When your dad offers to take you and your friends to your formal in his Morris Minor - dont turn him down. That is a decision that you will regret to this day. No matter how much you apologise to him, you cant take that back. Let him have his moment with his only daughter. Ontop of all those words younger self. 16.01.2022 Has there been a time that you have ignored your intuition and it has not worked out well ? I can think of a time when I had that 'feeling' that something wasn't right with a client and went ahead anyway with the project. After too many hours and weeks of wasted back and communicating on all channels, they pulled the pin and ended up doing the job themselves. I should have followed my instinct from the start but it did teach me a very valuable lesson about doing so from now on.

You my not be able to employ a full-time (or even a part-time) employee BUT you can afford a Virtual Assistant as we are not employed by the companies we help so this reduces your overheads significantly! .. 06.01.2022 By now its fairly obvious that I live in a part of Australia that is surrounded by gorgeous beaches and natural scenery. It is at constantly evolving with the seasons and the tides. This was my view this morning a mere 800m from my front door overlooking the local dog friendly beach where my 2 co-workers love to run and play every chance they get. 05.01.2022 The big picture Fest has recently been part of my closest big city Newcastle. It is a large-scale street art festival that brought world class artists to showcase their work alongside local talent. Artist talks, walking tours, skateboarding, music, and workshops will mean everyone can be entertained along the way. I visit Newcastle every fortnight and have loved watching the artwork for the event, evolve and become part of the city's landscape.
