23.01.2022 In this video I chat about gaps on a resume, I always suggest that you explain why you have a gap in your resume and indicate why. If you have been travelling, list the places that you have visited, if you have been raising a family, or have taken time off for personal reasons, it is ok to list that. I also strongly suggest that you add any volunteer roles, as the skills that you have used in a volunteer role are just as valuable as those in a paid position. It is better to explain the gap in your resume than to leave a potential employer guessing.

11.01.2022 Dream Match I hold a very particular skill set which most recruitment consultants just pass by as they don't take the time or have the knowledge to understand it. Lucky for me my resume fell on Justine's capable hands and when her opening line on our phone interview was "your resume is a funny one" I knew that finally, someone had crossed the threshold. We had the most amazing, comfortable and open conversation which allowed me to elaborate, and Justine to get what I was c...apable of. 11.01.2022 Mirror, Mirror on the wall. If you feel nervous before your interview, you can practice in front of the mirror so you can see your facial expressions. It may seem strange at first, but is a great way to practice before your interview.

07.01.2022 We visited @soco.espresso.bar today at Kingscliff and it was so delicious, they have a wonderful plant based menu and the staff were fantastic, if you ask nicely you will also be gifted with an a interesting fact. I learned about the history of the Statue of Liberty . Great coffee, food, atmosphere and fun facts. We will be back.

07.01.2022 Take the time to tailor your resume to that role you are applying for, just like you would take the same care and attention to an outfit you might be wearing to a celebration or special event.
