24.01.2022 For much of term 1 the Toddler children were deeply immersed in all things 'Crocodile'. From books to songs to art we just couldn't get enough of them! Using recycled egg cartons, painted by the children, our brilliant Miss Perth has put together our very own lumpy bump crocodile, displayed at the toddler room entry way to greet everyone as they arrive, who says you shouldn’t smile at a crocodile

23.01.2022 At Just Kids making language a priority does not always mean ... in english. Thanks to our amazing Mitsu our Pre Prep children are learning the art of writing and speaking in Japanese. Do you know what this word is?

23.01.2022 Pre Prep were very busy today working on their garden project . Investigating root systems , sprouting beans , carrots, tomato and corn seedlings. We are closely monitoring our avocado seed and sweet potato to see if they begin to sprout roots. While this teaches us lots about our garden ..... it is really teaching us how to be patient! Growing things takes a really long time

18.01.2022 Just one of our moments celebrating harmony week in Junior Kindy, included a very special visit from one of our parents, Isla's dad Josh. Sharing his knowledge of being a Chef, the children worked together with Josh to make coconut balls. YUM!

18.01.2022 Pre Prep were so inspired by watching the Targa Rally Race cars zooooom past Jk today ! Our designers and creators built their own race car from loose parts ! Some features included ; gear stick , ignition key , fuel pipe, spare tyre , accelerator and brake peddles ! Such a credit to the team work and cooperation of our Pre Prep engineers .

18.01.2022 It is with the greatest of excitement we announce the safe arrival of Mitsu and Takako's baby girl. Princess Chitose Fujita was born this morning. Both Mum and bub are doing well and Mitsu is over the moon and completely in love with his new Princess. Chitose is proudly our 15th JK staff baby ! Welcome to the JK Family Chitose. xx

05.01.2022 Our nursery friends have been loving these recycled foam building blocks. The soft texture provides an extra sensory element, while their light weight makes them perfect for little hands to build with! Great seeing loose parts in action across all of our learning rooms!

05.01.2022 Exploring cause and effect, Pre Prep are putting their science caps on to continue exploring all things weather AND water! Using beautiful bamboo water runs made by our very own Miss Gabby, the Pre Prep children have been experimenting with the impact differing heights may have on the speed the water runs, how far the water will travel and whether or not the water can move items down the run.
