06.01.2022 1967 SS CAMARO.... SOLD This is an iconic piece of Australian motoring history... YES, I said Australian Wind back the clock to 1967, this SS Camaro was imported to Australia as a brand new car and was converted to Right Hand Drive by Chapel Engineering in Victoria. It was then delivered to Freeman Motors, Adelaide, where it was used as a promotional vehicle for GM Australia, showcasing its American sister company. ... After the marketing had finished through Holden’s and GM, the car was sold to a local buyer and after many years he gave it to his son. A little bit more love and attention went into the car and it spent a few years on the show scene. It has been part of a private collection for last 19 years, and is used as weekend driver on occasions. 383 SBC, big solid camshaft, roller rockers, World product heads, Holley 750dp, Toploader 4 speed gearbox, MSD ignition, Extreme duty clutch, 9 diff, 3:89 LSD Center, 15x10 Genuine Centerline Wheels with 295/50/15 tyres, etc, etc..... and a lot of chrome, inner wheel tubs, glove box, hinges, locks etc. Mechanically excellent with lots of power, paint presents well, but has a couple of imperfections, nothing bad, but they are there.
