23.01.2022 Horseman from Norseman

20.01.2022 Carnivorous Wildflower, Rosie Sundew (Drosera).I spied this microscopic plant on a morning walk nestled in a weeny rock crack. Small-liquor like dew hangs from the fringe leaves. Insects supplement poor nutrition in 'granites environment at Girraween National Park. Inspiration blooming in Australian Springtime.

19.01.2022 In those times when you are lost or caught up in an emotional storm or contracted in self-centeredness or overcome by obsessive thoughts, notice what happens when you step outside or go for a walk and pay attention to the sky, feel the air, notice the light and colours of life, the movement of wind, the feel of grass under your feet. Last night in Broome Australia, we watch the amazing natural phenomenon affectionately called ‘Staircase to the moon’. The optical illusion effect cause by the full moon rising over the mudflats. A reminder of how nature’s amazing gifts grounds us.

19.01.2022 Tara Brach's discussion here explores how when we are driven by fear, there are ways we can bring compassion to liberating from fear and becoming conscious of our intentions- that guides us to freedom. Enjoy - its also available in podcast if you wish to listen on your morning walk.

18.01.2022 Mindful Snack Moment ‘Life really is a Gift’. I created this little ‘Mindful snack’ as my way today to pay forward. I hope you like it. It will take 30 seconds and aims to help you to reset if your having ‘one of those days . 1. Find a quiet place(even the ‘powder room, or during a work break) 2. Plant your feet, check your in a comfortable posture. Now, to invite yourself to sit, enjoy this little video reminder and turn all that’s changing, and all that’s difficult, into... food for your clarity and ease. Bring it all to your heart. I hope it helps. Reminder, find other moments today to pay careful and concentrated attention to something other than our own constructions. Pay attention to something today that’s personal to you, when you may find that felt sense of ‘calm’ or ease and that ‘felt sense’ in your body , nurture it so it becomes your inner sanctuary(it may be a hug from loved one, a dog, a beautiful piece of music). Slow the moment down and it will become your place to come home to, at any time, even just for a few moments, to settle, to allow your nervous system to shift out of a stress response and into a relaxed response. I’d love to hear here what your inner resource is, or what you use to calm yourself from stress and overwhelm? https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=RM_TQbTIRRA&feature=youtu.be

15.01.2022 One simple thing you can do in your backyard to help the bushfire relief effort! Beekeepers are mounting a campaign for greater access to national parks in New South Wales after catastrophic fires destroy millions of hectares of flowering trees in regular foraging areas. South Australia has reported losing 3,000 hives on Kangaroo Island and in the Adelaide Hills fires before Christmas. The Australian fires have had devastating effects on not only the environment, communities,... animals and human life but also on the local economy and peoples’ livelihoods I apologise in advance for the lack of technical stuff, Bill and I are on the road in our motorhome traveling across Australia. Please share this little video. https://youtu.be/_N2AEW6rT60

14.01.2022 Wait for it, you need patience and 'to be very quiet', platypus are very shy. Did you know..".'Proof of Existence - People in Europe had to rely on animal skins and drawings..,to know what unfamiliar creatures looked like.Joseph Banks questioned the existence of the platypus until a preserved skin was sent to him in the 1800. He built up a large collection of drawings sent to him by travellers all over the world" . - source Natural History Museum London. 13.01.2022 Visual Journal on compassion in action

13.01.2022 So many places to explore at Carnarvon Gorge where the wildlife roam free and some even draw a.k.a me.Billy and I chilling on our walk around Mickeys Creek. I added some details to my nature journal. #drawnintonature #carnarvongorgegreatwalk #naturjournaling #journalpagesfun

11.01.2022 I created, I felt, I allowed, I accomplished...I set a goal to practise 40 days, a short yoga practise in the morning, meditation daily and a 20 minute Yoga Nidra before bed. All in the many different locations we have been travelling. This routine has rekindled my belief why it’s invaluable to make time for ‘personal practise’(no matter how short) . Now I realise it doesn’t take much effort. This routine is not an ‘add on’ , it deepens life’s gifts. Just commit to a daily mindful practise (whatever brings you joy, (, ) for 40 days and feel the shift. Mindful meditation is not always just .

11.01.2022 An afternoon walk to the beach, then this little 'prehistoric fella, a Frilly neck lizard rushed across the sand and up a tree blending beautifully into the bark of the tree. #frillynecklizard #cooloolacoast

10.01.2022 All we are saying...is give ,'peace lillies' a chance.

09.01.2022 A morning wander. Sky above, sand in the toes. An ocean breeze, no-one around. I look out over the ocean and connect to my loved ones in a different part of the world somewhere they are smiling....or dreaming the colours and the peace. The smell of the saltyness and the soul of the sea reaching out......I take the time to look and really notice and appreciate everything.

08.01.2022 Todays little nature journal entry is dedicated to the little creatures that may be fleeing Fraser Island bushfires at present. When I saw this beautiful butterfly here at rainbow beach, I pondered on how far could they fly....can they fly the 15 kilometres to the mainland? I saw some Firefighters this morning at the local shop, my thoughts are with them currently in this heatwave.#naturejournaling #natureart #fieldnotes#fieldjournal #naturejournal
