11.01.2022 Attention Small Businesses receiving JobSaver As per an announcement that was released LAST Friday (10/9/21), the NSW government has introduced a requirement to... fortnightly reconfirm your eligibility for the JobSaver payment. The Government sprang this on business without warning. These changes are unexpected and may impact your ability to receive future JobSaver payments. This requirement will commence for the fortnight 13/9/21 26/9/21 and will include the following: Confirming that your business has maintained the employee headcount as per your initial application That your business has continued to experience a 30% decline in turnover. Service NSW requires recipients of JobSaver payments to login to their Service NSW account and confirm that they have: For the first of the new test periods, you will need to compare turnover for the period 13th to 26th September 2021 to one of the following periods depending on your initial JobSaver application: Where you used 2019 as the base period on your initial JobSaver application 13th to 26th September 2019. Where you used 2020 as the base period on your initial JobSaver application 13th to 26th September 2020 Where you used the two weeks immediately before the NSW restrictions as the base period on your initial JobSaver application 12 June to 25 June 2021. The decline in turnover test is based on actual turnover, meaning that you will need to wait until after 26 September to confirm your decline in turnover. Service NSW will send an email to each current recipient of JobSaver, providing details of how to provide the required information. If your turnover is still affected and you meet the eligibility requirements there should be no issue to submit the required information.

The Government needs to do more. Cause it’s unfair when they are struggling You can’t ring cause the automatic message is we can’t take your call please call back later. No wonder business are stressed when u can’t get answers So they are left with nothing to do but wait. See more
