13.01.2022 Frequently Asked Questions. How long is a consultation ? Generally 1.5 hours. I prefer to come to your home, this way I can see the unwanted behaviour first hand and how you are responding to it. There are a lot of factors which can contribute to an unwanted behaviour and most of these centre around the home. Within this time we will also go for a walk and possibly visit the dog park.... How many consultations will I need ? 95 % of the time only one consultation is needed. After the consultation I will email you a report. This will give you clear guidelines and instructions of the steps needed to change the unwanted behaviour. I am available for on-line and phone support free of charge, post consultation. What sort of behaviour do you cover ? Barking, jumping, dominance, aggression, anxiety, obsessive behaviour and separation anxiety. Do you teach obedience. ? Obedience is a vital part of having a well behaved dog and is incorporated into every behavioural plan. How much is a consultation ? A consultation is $75 this includes the home visit, report and ongoing online or phone support.

03.01.2022 Morning dog lovers, another beautiful day. A little about me. I have owned and loved dogs and cats all my life.. I have formal qualifications being Cert. IV in Animal Management, Canine Behaviour and Training, from Unitec NZ. This is a one year full time course covering animal health and nutrition, animal husbandary and specializing in canine behaviour and training. I have worked with the dog units in the NZ Aviation Security Service, Department of Conservation and SPCA Therapy Pets. I have a clinic dog called Ruben, he assists me in dog agression cases (being a cool cucumber). I have been consulting for nine years in Auckland and use positive modification methods.
