23.01.2022 PRE CHRISTMAS BOOKINGS 1 ON 1 private training is well and truly back and booking out fast! It's been overwhelming the amount of people that have reached out for training post lockdown and there is only 1 weekend spot left this side of Christmas!! People have been struggling through lockdown with their dogs and with no access to help, I understand just how difficult and stressful that may have been. So, I'm opening up all weekdays for 1 on 1 training! ... If you have or know someone that has been struggling with their dog, just looking for some general obedience training or had gotten a puppy during lockdown, then send them this way. I will continue to be running the 'Essentials Package' discounted from $600 to $400 (depends on location) until the end of the year!! ESSENTIALS PACKAGE - 4X training session where I come to your house to complete training (approx 5 hours total) - Obedience commands: Sit, Sit stay, Heeling, free walking, Drop, Drop stay, recall and bed/place command. - behavioural modification includes and not limited to: aggression, anxiety, fear, hyperactivity, ignoring the owner etc - multiple boundaries set up, and general manners around the home -includes head halter - on going phone support - access to the K9 Fundamentals community group that will contain video tutorials, results of owners with their own dogs, questions etc. This package is designed to set the owners up with all the tools needed to create a solid foundation and then confidently continue training on their own! 16.01.2022 CODY Cody the whippet, that doesn't act like a whippet! This guys owners reached out for help with Cody's separation anxiety. When they were not in the apartment, Cody would jump on the kitchen counter, tv cabinet and lick the tv to name a few. Simply leaving him out on the balcony was not an option for obvious safety reasons. ... So far we have stopped most of the jumping, taught sit, bed, Heeling and boundaries. All of these commands are important for the overall mindset of Cody and establishing the owners as clear leaders that will impact the separation anxiety issues indirectly. As he doesn't jump on the benches when the owners are home, they can't correct the behaviour. So for the interim period, they block the area with stools when they are not home to interrupt the behaviour whilst also working the obedience and manners when they are home. Soon they should be able to leave without having to put the stools up! Excellent work guys! They are putting in the necessary work and that's why they will get the result they want!! See more

15.01.2022 ARLO This absolute gorgeous guy is a real star His temperament is such a dream, and what a quick learner too! ... 3/4 sessions of the essential package complete and he's smashing it. HUGE credit to her owners for being extremely committed to training prior and for being open minded in adopting a new method of training. Well done guys! See more

08.01.2022 SKYE Skye's owners came to K9 fundamentals wanting to work on her dog reactivity/aggressive behaviour towards other dogs, aswell as some obedience. Skye has just completed her 3rd training session and is smashing it. She learnt how to drop when asked today, even if she didn't want to do it. There was some resistance at first but after a short amount of time and clear consistent communication from mum and dad, Skye was getting it!... Can you believe this gorgeous girl is only 10 months Well done guys! The fundamentals are coming along nicely and I look forward to tackling the reactivity soon! See more

07.01.2022 SASKI Those eyes what a gorgeous girl. Saski's owners started training to stop the jumping as a priority but also get her to listen to them when they need her too. At 7 months old, she's already a big girl so the jumping was a concern, especially when around the kids. ... 2 sessions in and she has started turning those big cute ears on ! Sitting on first command, Heeling like a champ and jumping is already less! Can't wait to see how well she does on the next 2 sessions! Well done to Saski and her owners! See more

We have just completed her 3rd session and with 1 to go she is improving and coming along so nicely. BIG UPS to her owners for putting in the consistent work! Well done guys! 05.01.2022 LOKI This handsome guys owners reached out for help with some behavioural problems. At 9 months, he's a big boy and was being too intense with the kids. He had started to pull on their clothes to get them to the ground. He was not being aggressive but left unchecked this could very easily get out of hand. There was nothing mum and dad could do to stop this. Im pleased that at the second session, Lokis owners reported a big change on overall behaviour in the house as ...he was starting to get the idea of who the leaders of the household actually are In the photo he just learnt the bed command and he did so damn good, even when we brang the big gun distractions out at once (cat and the kids). Adorable and impressive to see such a high energy dog be able to listen and obey in such a distracting environment. Looking forward to the next few sessions, well done guys! See more
