22.01.2022 Hi everyone. we have made a small change to our online booking system. When you make a dog grooming booking you will now be asked to login via your mobile phone number. This will help stop duplicate accounts being created in our system. You can also login in to check your upcoming appointments as well now.... You will also be asked to save you payment card details as well now, as part of our late cancellation & no-show protection policy. This means you card will be saved against your account (securely and unable to be viewed by us) and if you make a late cancellation or don't show up to your appointment we will then have to charge your card, with an amount as per our cancellation policy. Unfortunately, we are getting more and more no-shows and late cancellations and it has a big effect on our business and team. If you have any questions please get in touch with us. 21.01.2022 A quick COVID-19 update. At the moment we are open as per usual. For your safety and ours, we're going contactless. Our team will take your dog through to the play pens or grooming area using one of our slip leads. Please take your dog's harness and lead home with you when you leave. When entering our facilities, please limit the number of people waiting in our Office Area and you must wear a mask. We understand if you want to skip your daycare appointment. If so please let u...s know and we will credit forward your payment. We are also happy to rearrange grooming appointments if you need us too. Cashless payment is preferred. 18.01.2022 EXCITING OPPORTUNITY - FULL TIME DOG GROOMING TRAINEESHIP K9 Playtime has a new opportunity for two motivated people to join our team on a full time Dog Grooming Traineeship. We are looking for motivated, committed, and reliable individuals who are wanting to commence a traineeship, gaining practical on the job experience, whilst receiving extensive training (on the job and at Tafe) and a Certificate III in Pet Grooming. You must be between 18 - 24 years of age and have not c...ompleted a Cert II or III since leaving school. This is a 2 year traineeship. Only apply if you are going to be dedicated to the role. You must be available to start the role by the 12th of July. With a genuine love and passion to work with dogs in the grooming industry and a willingness to learn and use your initiative, your duties will include: Salon reception and front of house duties Provide enrichment for animals Provide bathing services Complete animal care hygiene routines Provide grooming services for animal comfort Complete animal care hygiene routines Contribute to workplace health and safety processes Provide basic first aid to dogs Maintain animal health and wellbeing Provide information on dogs, products, and services Perform cross breed clips.
