25.01.2022 This is Frank, a 4 yr old English Staffy that is looking for a Foster home for now until he gets adopted. Frank is a real sook as this breed tends to be & has grown up with children, currently sharing a home with 3 very young ones. Frank is very well behaved, is good with other dogs, is good with chooks & walks well on the lead. He loves to be around people and is really friendly...a very likeable and rehomeable boy. 24.01.2022 Hi, my name is Bronte, I am a six year old mixed breed and the size of a Kelpie. I have lived with my family since I was 6 months old, but am now looking for a new home. I am a very affectionate dog and love to share cuddles with my family. I am very fit & healthy and l love a daily walk then Im happy to lie around with you all day. I am not always good with other dogs so I need to be introduced carefully and I would be happy in a home on my own. I also bark when people come... to the front door, so would make a good guard dog. My current Mum is really good at making me feel safe & happy before opening the door so I am normally happy to see who is on the other side, especially if I have met them before. Unfortunately, I was naughty one day and snapped at a little girl, so its best if I am not rehomed with children. But if you would like an affectionate, snuggly foot warmer Im your girl. See more

21.01.2022 Milo is another surrendered Chihuahua through no fault of her own. Being fostered with me, a good girl with no issues. 2 years old max...female and loves everyone..especially kids. Make a great family pet. Toilet trained and beautiful temperament. Needs all the work done though so cant go anywhete yet but invited to meet & greet
21.01.2022 So Tommy has been treated to a Spa day. Hes had a Shampoo & Haircut by the lovely K9 Groomer Linda. He was such a good boy to. Then in the evening he snoozed on Victorias knee most of the evening and has made himself quite at home at Nolas place. Such a smoocher...lovely boy. He will also be advertised in the local Mail paper on Wednesday.

19.01.2022 Its that time of year again, K9 Calendars are for sale. Only $10 each. Call or text me if you would like one 0432371391. All money raised from these goes to rehoming, feeding and Vet Bills for surrendered or abandoned dogs. 17.01.2022 Cleo is a bubbly, typical pup that is full of beans. She has learnt to sit & drop and she obeys when you tell her to settle down. She loves playing with other dogs and is continually being socialised with other dogs so that she learns doggy manners. Cleo will need ongoing training as you would expect with any pup, but she is a very loving girl and just wants to please. She is about 15kg at present and would probably end up being approx. 25kg -30kg dog. Cleo has been Sterilised now so is ready for her forever home. Please contact Rhona for an introduction.
17.01.2022 Lola - Female American Staffy DOB - 15th April 2015 Lola is a 3 year old Am Staff that wants some attention. She has been neglected of TLC and just wants to please . She loves to play with other dogs and has been playing with the various dogs in the yard at Marlees kennels. Lola is quite strong but settles after she has let off some steam. She knows basic commands and will benefit from ongoing ... training. Lola will need a very secure yard as she can jump, or she would be happy to go to work with you. 16.01.2022 Crash is 4 1/2 years old but not 100 % sure of the breed. Definitely a mix...maybe Maltese X Staffy X Who knows. Very unusual looking but a nice boy all the same. He walks well on the lead and gets on ok with other dogs. Just needs to learn some manners when first meeting another dog. He probably weighs about 15kg give or take to give you an idea of his size, but bigger than the average Maltese/Shih Tzu. He looks quite different when his fur grows, as you can see. 16.01.2022 So unfortunately Gabby has had a couple of Adoption fails as she is not good around children, as she seems anxious when around them. She needs to go to an older couple that have time on there hands or one person, but no kids. She loves human companionship and is very obdient. 15.01.2022 This Puppy is only 8 weeks old and looking for a home. He resides in Collie at this stage and he is a male. Breed is Bull Arab X Kelpie. Mother was approx. 24 kg and the father 32kg to give you an estimate of the size he will grow to. Good looking fella though
15.01.2022 Harper & Memphis Female Male Terrier X DOB - 2009 & 2005 These 2 Terrier Xs have come from a loving home, but unfortunatey had to be surrendered due to ill health. They are only about 8-10kg dogs and are very friendly & well behaved. No training to be done here and they love their walkies. Harper & Memphis have to be rehomed together as they are a close couple. In saying that they are no trouble, and a delight to have around. They are in good health and certainly do not... look there age. 15.01.2022 Gabby is a bit of a mixed breed but definitely has Staffy in her. She is 3 yrs old and a very loving girl. Gabby loves to be around you alot, and isnt keen to be left home alone for long periods of time. She is a companion dog, which is typical of the Staffy breed. Gabby loves her walks & romps down the beach, and is very obedient.

15.01.2022 This is Bluey, a 15 month old English Blue Staffy that is looking for his forever home. Bluey is dog social & a bit excitable when you first meet him, but does settle down and will be great with some more training. He would probably be best with a playmate and older children as he can be a bit jumpy. He loves attention, as does the typical Staffy. He will be very popular as this breed to sought after. 13.01.2022 Meet Lelo, a male Chihuahua X Terrier who is approx. 12 months old. Lelo has come from Broome originally and is looking for a family to love & play with him. He loves children and company in general. He also likes to play with other dogs and is quite energetic. Lelo is an outside dog and is used to sleeping in his crate at night. He walks well on the lead and is a quick learner so very trainable. He would make a good companion for another dog, preferably female but he is fine with all dogs anyway. 13.01.2022 Oh Dear...I am banned from going shopping with Nola and going to SW Pets I just popped in to pick up some dog treats and Kate from SW Pets says...OOoooh Rhona...I have this beautiful little girl...your sort of dog. So I ask...can I hold her.....say no more. Poor little thing has already had 2 homes so third time VERY LUCKY with us. As Pete so admirally put it......thats what you do...Rehome dogs. haha But this is our keeper. Already knows her name...Daizi May and Bonnie tolerating her, but she will enjoy her company in time as she did with my Beautiful passed Sophia Loren. Will always love her & miss her but I know I am now giving a little 4 month old girl a forever safe loving home.
13.01.2022 Meet Buster, an English Staffy X that is 6 years old in March. Buster is a very placid boy that has grown up with children & loves being around people. 09.01.2022 Wow...was my 7 year anniversary yesterday for being with K9 Rescue Southwest and what a journey it has been. Would have rehomed about 200 dogs in that time, and very happy for those dogs that got a second chance at being in their forever happy home Woohoo
08.01.2022 This is Tommy...our new Miniature Poodle X who will be 9 years old on 28th Feb. He is a darling but does have some issues. He is very scared of men and will take a lot of patience to let him warm to you. Females arent a problem and he does love his cuddles. He isnt great with dogs he doesnt know, but that can be sorted with training. He is very good in the car and likes walks with his harness on. If you are interested in Tommy please DO NOT call during the day as I will be unavailable. Please only call 5pm onwards to discuss. Thankyou

06.01.2022 Meet Brandy, an unusual mix of Border Collie X Poodle, but a smaller version. Brandy is 9 years old and is a well behaved dog. She is toilet trained, really loves her walkies & walks well on the lead. Brandy loves kids, other dogs and people in general. She would probably love the company of another dog as she can get a bit anxious left home alone. You would not think she was 9more like a 6 year old dog, full of beans and plenty of energy. She likes to sleep next to you at night and waits to be told to eat her food.
04.01.2022 Spot is the new kid on the block and is 5 years old, 9th July 2019. Spot is a JR....but guessing maybe Tenterfield Terrier in him as well. Very nice friendly boy, loves people & other dogs. Loves to play & quite energetic, so would appreciate a good walk or 2 every day. He has a minor health issue but medication has sorted that out. 04.01.2022 Meet Nugget who is 3 weeks off being a year old. Born 13/11/17 Nugget is an American Staffy X...maybe Lab as he has a boof head but is a delightful dog. Nugget has just been desexed so is in recovery mode, but he has a lovely nature and loves to be around people. He is great with kids, other dogs and has good recall. He would love to have another dog to play with and is always willing to please.
04.01.2022 This is Pippa...new girl in Busselton. She is a Chihuahua X and a gorgeous little girl. Pippa needs to be Sterilised, Vaccinated, Microchipped etc before she can go anywahere so it will be 2 weeks before she can be adopted. In saying that, you can enquire about her. She is approx 1-18months old and needs a family or person that walks and has plenty of time for her. She is fine with other dogs and is a bit of a smoocher. Loves attention
04.01.2022 This Jax...new boy on the block. He is just over 3 years old, and is a Pug X Staffy. Jax has come from Mandurah and is looking for his forever home. He is a good boy, obedient, very friendly and great with all dogs. Hes very tolerant and wouild probably be best suited to be with another dog for company. Adoption fee for Jax is $430.00. 03.01.2022 Gabby is still looking for that forever home. She is a Staffy X, 3 years old and loves company. Gabby is obedient and needs to have her walks every day, as she is still an active girl that loves to play. Gabby wouldnt be suited to be left home on her own all day as she is a companion dog & likes being around humans :)

01.01.2022 This is Gus, K9s new pup who was born 12/07/17 and is an Australian Bulldog X. He is very cute and full of character & spunk. He is nearly toilet trained, sits for treats & his dinner and is a smart boy in general that learns fast. He travels well in the car on his bed and is a good boy. Gus has been introduced to the the resident cat and knows to back off if she hisses at him. He is a typical inquisitive pup and loves all company. Like all pups I rehome, I will be very particular where he goes.
01.01.2022 Now that I have spent some time with Pippa she really is a lovely little girl. She is a typical Chihuahua in that she can have a bit of attitude but you just need to understand her. She loves her cuddles and being around you. Pippa is a smart girl and would make a great companion dog. She would only really suit a retired couple that likes walking and can take her with them as she does love company. Pippa is only 2 years old so needs her walks every day. 01.01.2022 Frank The Staffy - Thanks to everyone who txt & phoned to foster/adopt Frank. I had an overwhelming amount of interest...too much to handle actually so couldnt possibly reply to everyone. I run K9 SW on my own so sorry I couldnt answer everyone individually. There was about 100 odd people wanting to adopt him, which is terrific but he can only go to one home. I have a handful of people to choose from and will contact those in due course for a chat/screen etc. He will be getting desexed tomorrow & give him time to recuperate & go from there.
