19.01.2022 Lovely video put together by Nerida & her gorgeous assistance dog "Flynn." Team Flynn (as I call Nerida & Flynn) have worked tirelessly over the last 6 months with me to turn Flynns reactive behaviour around in order for Flynn to become a role model assistance dog. This is NOT an easy task, lots of love, tears and hard work has happened but these two just show what dedication looks like...Success

17.01.2022 Am I climbing the right mountain? A good question to ask yourself if you are not getting results with your dog or yourself Am I climbing the right mountain? A good question to ask yourself if you are not getting results with your dog or yourself

15.01.2022 A client is having to re-home their lovely Bull Arab Bella. They are offering Bella free to good home and would like a meet & greet with prospective new owners at their home and yours as Bella is very special to them thus this is an extremely hard decision to make. I know Bella well and she is a lovely girl, a sensitive personality, very loyal that needs firm boundaries. She, as many Bull Arabs do, has a high defense drive so she is not going to do well around small animals o...r babies/toddlers as they will send her over threshold. A couple or single person with no children would be ideal for Bella. The owners description. "Bella is a 3 year old Bull Arab who has been with us since a puppy. She is de-sexed and fully vaccinated. She has balls of energy who requires lots of exercise and walking. She is a very loving, loyal dog that loves a lot of attention but isnt too happy sharing it sometimes. She is a great listener in the way of being told when to sit, stay and fetch...she even listens to my 6 year old. She loves to go for walks but is very strong. We have had her in training with the amazing Ingrid who has changed her completely. With consistency she is a great dog to take out for long or short walks. However Bella is use to routines and will become upset and miserable if he misses her walks. Shes had a great diet since a puppy feeding on chicken necks and vet dry food. Bella is very stand offish when it comes to people she doesnt know. Once she has the confidence to say hello and after a few meets she will be there best friend. For some reason she can be funny with men, especially if they are wearing a hat and/or glasses. With her there is no rushing a relationship she has to feel comfortable to make the approach and become friends. She is a great friend to have in the house, she loves lots of cuddles and will really make a great mans best friend. Oh and she absolutely LOVES the water. Loves to swim and will do so for hours on end, loves to chase the hose or getting sprayed with it" ....... If you are interested in Bella contact Chloe 0481 248 995 See more

14.01.2022 "Correct your mistakes before they become your habits" ... For dogs and humans .

12.01.2022 Love This Graphic !!!!! What I have been ranting on about for years finally in an excellent visual creation STOP socialising puppies/dogs as though they were humans and start exposure & acclimation to the environment with the #1 focus to be reinforcing impulse control & attention to YOU not the environment.....I work extensively with reactivity in dogs and impulse control is the #1 reason dogs get reactive in the first place.

12.01.2022 Whoa ... look at these two go Fantastic photo ladies Cas Colbert Angela Van de Wouw .... Now thats engagement xx

09.01.2022 It is so great to hear that dog slaughter in certain countries are advancing forward by shutting dog slaughter markets and operators. The shut down of the Gupo dog meat market (South Koreas largest dog meat market) is a massive change to happen, thanks to the new generation refusing to consume dog meat, we are becoming a compassionate species Very proactive for the government to be helping the dog farms owners transition into more humane and profitable livelihoods so this industry doesnt raise its ugly head under the radar ! ..... Feeling appreciation to all those who have made this happen

07.01.2022 2020 is definately off and running ! Will try to get more info up here & fingers X this is the year i get my Boundaries Course written which is the key to any behavorial problem

07.01.2022 The idea that "change is hard" is one of the biggest myths about human behavior ! The truth is, you change effortlessly and all the time. The primary job of the brain is to adjust your behavior based on the environment. Design a better environment and Change will happen naturallly... If you want your dogs (or yours) behaviour to change then ask the question "What can i take out, add or regulate in my home environment to promote change" then go about getting those things done

01.01.2022 Expression of Interest - TRICK/SHAPING CLASS I am contemplating doing a Shaping/Tricks Class as all year this was one of the most asked for training sessions/ classes from people. This would be a weekly class where you would bring your dog and learn how to shape behaviour then pick tricks to train your dog. Maximum number of people would be 4 and it would be $35.00 per training session. If there are enough interest I would then work in a few permanent weekly TRICK/SHAPIN...G CLASSES people can book in for depending on their schedule. If you are interested let me know here or message me privately as may run some over Dec - Jan. PLEASE NOTE - Reactive dogs will not be able to attend as too disruptive in a class format but if you do have a reactive dog I could look at doing a different format to accommodate you as shaping/tricks really helps reactive dogs build confidence.

01.01.2022 After much research and phone calls AU wide we can confirm that the COVID-19 is not transmitted via our domestic pets. But as most may know we must take precautions so I will not be teaching dog training groups until the this virus is under control, when that is who knows ?? I will be continuing training and part of my Duty of Care to my valued clients will entail me taking as many precautions as possible to disinfect between training sessions, practising social distance and all training will be held outside not in confined spaces or public areas ... Any questions please dont hesitate to call or message me (0408 034 170)
