22.01.2022 Busy Cafe looking for a HANDS ON Cafe Manager who has a strong hospitality background and is experienced in a busy cafe environment. The key duties of the role will include but not be limited to: Responsible for the daily running of the Café, the successful candidate will be an all-rounder, capable of managing multiple tasks and constantly shifting priorities.... The role will involve staff management including supervising of shifts, managing rostering and staff performance, ensuring food & coffee is consistent and top quality, along with management of stock control and daily ordering. The right candidate will: A minimum 2 years' experience in a similar role. Have a proven ability to successfully manage, train, motivate and lead staff. Process a strong focus and passion for customer service. Be hard working, and have an eye for detail. Have Barista and food prep experience Be willing to jump in and do all tasks including dishes, running tables etc. Be available for flexible working hours 7 days a week between 5.30am and 6pm. Take pride in their presentation and display strong communication skills. Food Safety Certificate and Management qualifications would be advantageous. 19.01.2022 DINE INS! - Monday May 18th We will have seating for 20 people inside the cafe and mall area, however we will be serving everything in takeaways to make cleaning procedures easier and quicker. We will not be taking any bookings at this time. If you would like to dine in you MUST be seated by a staff member prior to ordering. ... We will ask you to make use of the hand sanitiser provided to you. We are required by law to keep track of those who dine in, therefore you must provide your name & contact number. Rather than set a time limit at this stage we ask that once you have finished your meal you leave so that we can offer the table to others who are waiting. Please do not be offended if you are asked to leave by a staff member. Please put your used napkins within the container or straight in the bin so they dont need to be touched by staff directly. Our alfresco area will remain as a takeaway waiting zone for now. Once you have received your takeaway items we will be asking you to leave so that we do not exceed our 20 person limit. If we exceed our 20 person limit (excluding those waiting for their items) we could be fined $250,000 or imprisioned for 12 months.
