02.01.2022 Very common beneath the Kingscote Jetty are these Tasmanian Blennies. Growing to around 8cm, these cute and curious little fish can be found poking their heads ...out from knot holes in the jetty pylons, discarded bottles and old pipes and, as you can see here, from the many sponge and soft coral covered Razorfish shells along the sea bed. Always comical to watch with their Dr Seussian-like faces, especially when out scavenging for food where they scamper along in a stop/start motion thinking that we can see them, they never fail to make divers smile :-)
