25.01.2022 The whole point is to create space for all generations, old and young and in-between, to worship together. The whole point of intergenerational worship which has at its heart a desire to help kids and youth and adults and elderly be a part of the church as it is, whatever that looks like, and to experience all the parts of church that make it unique to their church tradition (such as liturgy, songs, Scripture reading, celebratory practices like baptism and communion, and all the other rhythms that make each worship service unique).

24.01.2022 The connection is absolute. I feel so much closer to God now by being able to read in my heart language as well as in English. The fact is that being able to read God in the language of heart makes my heart stronger.

16.01.2022 For Sunday, 25 October, 12-1:30PM our time

16.01.2022 We're celebrating International Women's Day. Come and join in!

14.01.2022 Seeing God through Aboriginal eyes. This Sunday's Psalm 123 is a song about wanting to see God. It is not out of curiosity about God's physical characteristics or to just bask in holy light. It has to do with having such an intimate relationship with God that worshippers absorb some of who God is this way transforming them to be more Godlike. How might we change if we see God through Aboriginal eyes?

13.01.2022 Our own Dr Scott Hollier speaking about access at Presbytery today. Thank you, Scott for continuing to champion inclusivity in churches. Thank you to everyone who helped out behind the scenes setting up, preparing refreshments, cleaning up. Great job!

11.01.2022 After last Sunday's service celebrating the witness and ministry of women and girls in observance of International Women's Day, we received the comments from some men, "What about the men? We should start an INTERNATIONAL MEN'S DAY!" Well, there is such an observance.https://internationalmensday.com/ on 19 Nov. The theme is year is men's health. November is important for the masculine soul because it gathers several events that are important to men. Movember is the month we... focus on raising money for mens health. On November 20 we celebrate International Children’s day which then forms 48 hours of celebration for men and children, and the special relationship they share. AT gathering around the Lenten Reflection Series , a man came up with a suggestion that we look into helping fathers and sons prevent the spread of domestic violence. https://internationalmensday.com/

09.01.2022 Trek for Timor assembly at Kalamunda Uniting Church this afternoon. Great reunions at an intergenerational fund raiser for a health clinic in Timor Leste. The ...10k trek ended at Foothills St Martin's Uniting Church where walkers were welcomed with a yummm afternoon tea. It was a huge success and we managed to raise over $2,500 which will go to Lafaek Diak's Mobile Health Clinic in East Timor. Also, a big shout out to both Kalamunda Uniting Church and Foothills St Martin's Uniting Church for hosting either side of the trek - we really appreciate your support! P.S. The study comes in four parts with a choice of afternoon or evening sessions. Lessons are patterned after Brian McLaren"s book, We Make the Road by Walking: A Year-long Quest for Spiritual Formation, Reorientation and Activation. Having a copy of the book would be useful though not necessary. Study guides will be available. Bring your Bible along.
