16.01.2022 As we celebrate the one year anniversary of Australia's "Yes" vote on marriage equality, we need to remember the violations of #LGBTI rights that remain to be addressed: non-consensual surgeries and medical interventions on intersex children, an inability for trans people to change identity documents based on self-determination, broad exemptions from anti-discrimination laws that violate the right to education, the persistence of conversation therapy, disparities in health outcomes, and more. Time to move #BeyondYes to achieve full equality and dignity for all parts of our LGBTI communities.

07.01.2022 BREAKING / TAIWAN : Unfortunately, anti-LGBT ballot initiatives are leading strongly in early results, with marriage equality and LGBT-inclusive education set to be rejected at the polls. We send our solidarity to all LGBT people in Taiwan in these difficult times. Your fight for equality, dignity and inclusion over the past few decades has inspired us and the entire Asia-Pacific region. This is not the end of the road for equality the Constitutional Court held last... year that same-sex couples have a right to equal recognition and the Court will have the last say on what form of relationship recognition is acceptable. You can follow the results live here: http://referendum.2018.nat.gov.tw///00000000000000000.html The anti-LGBT initiatives are Initiatives 10, 11 and 12, while pro-equality initiatives are Initiatives 14 and 15.
