25.01.2022 We've had a bumper weekend at the Kalgoorlie PCYC with 2 birthday parties, a Camo Play Halloween party, a safeSPACE Halloween party, Police Boxing program, hall hires, and to top it off we were lucky enough to help host Flavour Entertainment's Halloween disco! 24.01.2022 PCYC gymnastics is back! Were excited to say that gymnastics will be re-starting week commencing Monday 15 June 2020 for the remainder of Term two! These remaining 3 weeks will be in lieu of the 3 weeks missed in Term 1 due to the government requirement to temporarily close our centres due to COVID-19. Throughout Covid-19, PCYC has acted in accordance with the government regulations and advice. Now we are entering stage 3 of the easing of restrictions we are working throug...h the relevant health and safety precautions and staff training required for us to re-open. Due to the Coronavirus, some things will be a little different. So whilst we make the final arrangements to re-open, please get ready with the following items! Your own personal bottle of sanitiser Your own personal hand chalk Wrist straps (should you require these) Any other personal first aid requirements (ie tape, strapping etc) A water bottle and sweat towel We are conscious that our gymnasts are returning to the sport after a period of rest. We recognise that the return to training will need to be progressive so as to maximise performance and decrease the chance of injury. We request that if you have any specific concerns relating to your child and their return to training, or if they have an injury or illness you please email this to me so we can arrange a time to discuss further. Thank you for bearing with us. We know everyone has been missing gymnastics almost as much as weve missed coaching! We know everyone has been missing our other activities and are keen to re-start again soon. Some of the kids were lucky enough to have joined in with officer Xavier Lucas from Goldfields-Esperance District - WA Police Force for the Police Boxing Program. 21.01.2022 Our programs are back for term 3! Air Rifles, Gymnastics and Camo Play are back in swing! Unfortunately our Grassroots Boxing is temporarily on hold while we look for a new boxing coach. A big thank you to Leah who supported the Grassroots program, we will miss you! Air Rifles - Places are very limited, if you would like to get involved please contact us to register your interest. ... Gymnastics - Places are available for most levels of gymnastics. Classes are available from 4 years and up. If your child is 6 years and above we require a quick 5 minute assessment to be done. This can be completed Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday between 3 and 3.30pm, we just ask you let us know that you are coming. Alternatively you can contact us directly to book an assessment time. Camo Play - is currently running Tuesday and Thursday at 9.30am and we are taking interest now for the 10.30am 3-5 year old class. Please contact us to register your interest.
