07.01.2022 July 10 2012- Police have begun a marathon forensic investigation after 20 cars at Kalgoorlie-Boulder Airport were broken into. The break-ins took place on Friday or Saturday, with the offences first reported on Sunday.... Officers yesterday began the task of contacting the owners of each car to report the damage and begin tallying the amount of property stolen. We’ll be looking at CCTV footage and would appreciate any information from people who were in the area, Detective Sergeant Chris Page said. While security at the airport was toughened after the terminal was ram-raided last year, the facility is not covered full-time.
