17.01.2022 despite the stupidity of governments we assure all clients that we will not be lowering our standards to join in the "ride Share" fiasco that Queensland has had dropped on them by new legislation legalising such services. Vehicle inspection requirements have been greatly watered down and this may lead to unsafe vehicles which are currently not carrying the correct CTP Insurance which covers fare paying passengers. The whole situation is a hodge podge of unknowns rushed through to satisfy big business interests such as Uber.

03.01.2022 We have just witnessed further complete disregard for the regulations governing passenger transport by the illegal Uber operators. Two of these criminals have b...een blatant enough to appear on Channel Seven TV boasting their illegal arrival on the Sunshine Coast and promoting themselves as an alternative to existing legal operators. Either the government or TMR need to take the necessary steps to enforce the existing regulations or stop taking money from legal operators to comply with regulations they are unwilling or unable to enforce. TMR are more than willing to charge legal operators for vehicle inspection fees, operators authority, drivers authority, limo and taxi plates, class 4 insurance etc but are not protecting the operators from these criminals. It is great to have an enquiry, that is going to take 10 months to complete and probably another 12 months to do anything about. It is time that our elected government and regulatory authorities showed some backbone and did something positive instead of condoning these unlawful acts.
