24.01.2022 We had a lovely day with the herd today, and arent our mums and bubs just beautiful? Aint nothing better.

24.01.2022 Did you ask for a cow for Christmas? A couple of our clients did! We made our last deliveries for 2020 today. Tessy and Rosie are all settled in at their new place - how about that bougainvillea? Kit Kat, Katniss, Hannah, and their calves were also excited to be in their new home. We love helping people find the right cattle for their property - why not contact us today about what we can do for you?

23.01.2022 If youre free, come on out and help support our local CFS. :)

23.01.2022 The One Tree Hill General Store/ Diner is the primary stockist of our grass fed, locally produced, genetically lean Limousin beef. Weve recently replenished the stock - just look at the fridge! Its all cryovac packed with an average weight of 800g per package. Theres plenty of prime cuts available, at extremely competitive pricing, so why not head down and pick some up for dinner tonight?

23.01.2022 If anyone local has been looking for some chickens, there are some lovely girls down at the Fodder Store, but head in quick before they’re all snapped up!!

23.01.2022 Sunday is our weekly check up day for the herd. Everyone comes into the yards and gets a food treat - this allows for us to keep a close check on our herds health. This also helps to train the younger members of the herd that the yards aren't a scary place to be. Most Sundays the cattle themselves come as close as they can and wait for us to open the gates.

22.01.2022 Don't forget that it's the One Tree Hill Country Market this coming Saturday! We'll be down there as per usual with Quistis and Que'niyah waiting to see you, and our sausage sizzle supporting the One Tree Hill Tennis Club. So come on down, check out the markets, and say hi to us and our cattle! We look forward to seeing you. :)

21.01.2022 Its a beautiful morning and were ready to go down at the markets - come on down and say hi!!

20.01.2022 Come on down to the markets on Saturday and help celebrate! We’ll also have Portia, Lumpy, and their calves, Ragnar and Re’niyah, down for the day! Looking forward to seeing you there!!

20.01.2022 Theres still beef in stock at the One Tree Hill General Store/ Diner - dont see something youre after? Well, we will be restocking on Thursday so youre sure to find it then! In good news, the store will be open Easter Friday, Saturday, and Sunday, so make sure you head on down. And dont forget, if youre after larger quantities, we sell sides of beef and 15kg meat boxes - send us a message for more details.

20.01.2022 We were happy to see the big fella, Exceptional Odds, still going strong at 11 years old in one of our Kamshare herds. Hes had a strong impact on our herd, with many daughters still part of our breeding females both at home and out commercially, as well as having two of his sons still working as Kamshare sires. Odds was the Senior Champion Limousin Bull at the 2012 Royal Adelaide Show - and he still looks like he could definitely strut his stuff, showing no signs of slowing down any time soon!

20.01.2022 Our latest weaners. Weve had to wean these boys earlier than we usually would due to the continuing lack of decent rain, but given these boys are all from first calvers, we certainly cant fault the job their mothers have done.

20.01.2022 We let the girls into a new paddock yesterday and just watched them for a while. We cant think of a better view.

18.01.2022 Here at Kamcheyenne Limousin we pride ourselves on providing quality product to our clients at good value prices. As such we have tried to avoid changing our pricing for as long as possible, but due to increased costs associated with feed, we are having to increase our prices as well. As of today (June 1st, 2020) our sides of beef will be $10 per kg, and our 15kg meat box will be $225. We hope to continue to provide the quality product you have come to expect from us, and thank you all for supporting us, especially during these trying times.

18.01.2022 Is there anything sweeter than a mother with her calf? First calver Portia is doing a magnificent job with her little man born 4 days ago.

18.01.2022 Happy Fathers Day from our current herd sire, Kamcheyenne Phoenix! This Heavyduty sired bull has caught our eye ever since he was born, and with the backing of our favourite females on his dams side, we are looking forward to seeing this fellows calves drop in 7-8 months time.

18.01.2022 Did you know that the One Tree Hill Country Market is back on this Saturday? Were going to be there from 8 til 1 with some of our girls, ready to chat about our cows and our Kamshare Program. Our regular ladies, Lumpy Space Princess and Portia, are both busy with their new calves, so wont be able to make it. However, we have 2 new girls ready to make their debut on Saturday - Queniyah and Quistis. Old hand Lush may also make her way down as moral support for the 2 young heifers. All 3 love carrots, and well have plenty there for treats, so make sure you come on down and say hi!

17.01.2022 Check out our yearling bulls - we’re pretty pleased with how they’re shaping up! If you’re after a bull for your herd, contact us today to arrange a viewing of these boys. We also have some older boys available as well, so we are sure to have a bull to meet your needs. :)

17.01.2022 A couple of these lads are still available, so if you’re looking for a new bull to add some muscle to your herd, why not contact us today?

16.01.2022 This week would have been the SA Junior Heifer Expo, but of course it was one of the many events that had to be cancelled due to the COVID-19 pandemic. We thought wed go back through some old photos of our hexpo kids and heifers - did you know stud hands Silvo and Caitlin went to the hexpo in 2010 with Kamcheyenne heifers? Theyre feeling old today! Anyway, heres a look back at our lovely heifers - and the fantastic handlers - that weve had over the years.

16.01.2022 Thanks to the team at Accessories by Antoinette for the newest members of our Kamcheyenne team - Riley, Kamiah, and Hazelnut. Aren’t they fantastic? We 100% recommend these guys if you are after something small and cuddly - not only do they have fantastic items in stock, they take on custom orders, such as our cows, as well! So check them out!!!

14.01.2022 Much like the Easter Bunny, our cattle love their carrots! We wish all of our friends a safe and happy Easter.

13.01.2022 We had a bit of fun on the farm the other day, recreating this photo with farm favourite Le’Doux. Le’Doux had a promising career ahead of him as a potential herd bull for us, his structure and temperament were exactly what we were after. In 2015, he was the Champion in the SA Young Beef Breeders Calf Classic, and we were excited for his future. However, some time post weaning, something happened and he was injured, resulting in one of his testicles detaching. He was castrated... and we thought that was that, but we were all very attached to him, and his temperament was really exceptional. We always run a bachelor herd, made up of our young bulls post-weaning, which moves back and forth between our property and our agistment property, and we wondered if Le’Doux could be trained to manage this herd. Turns out, he could, and he’s happily been the boss man for the past 5 (ish) years. See more

13.01.2022 Its been a baby bonanza over the past couple of weeks on the farm, and ohmygosh are we in love!! These little lovelies were all sired by Noble (who is looking for a new home, if anybody is interested) and were all born easily and swiftly, just how we like them. Already we can tell Noble has stamped his calm and gentle nature on this lot of calves, as he did his last lot, and were excited to watch them grow and mature. And we cant get over how cute they are!!

12.01.2022 Our third calf is on the ground and up in a flash, and shes our first heifer of the season (hopefully the first of many!!) born to Jacks cow, Lumpy Space Princess. Isnt she so dainty and sweet? We are smitten! This year all calves will have names beginning with R, so feel free to give us some ideas.

11.01.2022 Dont forget on Saturday it is the One Tree Hill Country Market from 8am. Well have our cows Lumpy Space Princess and Portia there for you to meet, as well as our sausage sizzle - this month supporting the One Tree Hill Country Fire Service. They do a great job working to keep us all safe, so why not come down and enjoy a sausage all the while supporting a great cause! As usual, our beef will be fully restocked at the One Tree Hill General Store/ Diner. We look forward to seeing you there!

11.01.2022 Our beef production is not affected by COVID-19 - contact us today if you are in need of some quality beef.

11.01.2022 Dont forget that we will be at the OTH Market tomorrow, raising funds for our local CFS with our sausage sizzle - thanks to the OTH Fodder Store for supplying the gas for our BBQ! Well also have tastings of our Honey Soy Beef Stirfry (as features in the Grapevine for February), and our cattle will be there for you to say hi to, so make sure you come check us out - we look forward to seeing you!

10.01.2022 Did you catch us in the paper? We're in this weeks Farmer lift out in the Bunyip newspaper. The journalist may have gotten a bit muddled on a couple of points (Caitlin and Bernadette would like to point out that they don't own that calf, for instance ), but we're overall pleased with how the article is presented. If you have any questions, feel free to contact us - we're always happy to talk to people about our favourite subject, our cattle!!

10.01.2022 Despite all the craziness in the world, life on the farm still goes on. Checked in on our bachelor herd today, and what a beautiful sight.

09.01.2022 Weve been busy replacing some of our fence lines, which means the cattle got out into a new paddock this week - they seem pretty happy about this! Were loving all the green at the moment, and keeping our fingers crossed that everybody gets sufficient rainfall this winter to ease the feeding pressure.

08.01.2022 Happy Mothers Day from farm favourites Dash, and her daughter Nika. We hope everyone has a lovely day!

08.01.2022 Our newest arrivals down at the farm, with dams Frankie, Nika, and Nadia. All three are boys - weve had a bull heavy season, so look out for a sale as they become yearlings!

08.01.2022 It’s the One Tree Hill Country Market this Saturday! We’ll be down there with our sausage sizzle supporting Northern Hills Pony Club. Lumpy, Re’niyah, Portia, and Ragnar will be there as well, eagerly awaiting their carrots! So come on down, say hi, and do a little bit of shopping at tbe last market before Christmas! We look forward to seeing you!

06.01.2022 Due to popular demand, we have done a mid-month restock of our beef at the One Tree Hill General Store/ Diner. All cuts are currently available, including a good selection of slow cook, spare ribs, osso bucco, and stewing steak - just perfect for the cold snap this week!

06.01.2022 We were pleased to see Pax (now renamed Phoenix) off into a wonderful new home with some beautiful ladies. We still have bulls looking for herds to call their own - contact us today to find out more.

06.01.2022 Wishing all our friends, family, and clients a safe and happy festive season.

05.01.2022 We had a lovely day out at the markets today - thank you to everyone who came by for a chat, to say hi to Quistis and Queniyah, and to purchase a sausage in support of the One Tree Hill Tennis Club!

05.01.2022 Our newest arrival at the farm happened just how we like them. We checked our herd at around 3.30 yesterday, and noticed Nelly (one of our first calvers) standing a little ways off from the herd, and looking a little agitated (for lack of a better word). No other signs of calving, but we were confident she would have it sometime within the next 24 hours. The group gets multiple checks a day when our heifers are due, as heifers are unknown quantities when it comes to calving, and though we rarely have issues thanks to the Limousin breed having nice, small calves, we like to keep an eye on it so if something doesnt look right we can help out. 5.30 rolls around, another person heads out to check on them, and finds Nelly cleaning her new little bull calf. Absolutely perfect.

05.01.2022 We let the girls out into their paddock with a roll of oaten hay this afternoon, and boy were they excited!! We love seeing them run around - happy cows = happy us.

05.01.2022 Come on down to the One Tree Hill Markets and say hi to our lovely cattle - we have Lumpy Space Princess and her calf Re’niyah, and Portia and her calf Ragnar.

04.01.2022 We did some yard work with our youngest herd members today - arent they so clever? These little ones are sired by Noble - who is looking for a new home - and range in age from 2-8 weeks.

03.01.2022 Don’t forget that if you are after beef bones as a tasty treat for your dog, or to use to make some delicious stock, you can pick up our beef bones from the OTH Fodder Store. It’s only $7 a bag, and the bag weighs between 2 and 3kg.

03.01.2022 For the month of February, if you order one of our 15kg Meat Boxes ($200) we will give you an extra kilogram, bringing it up to 16kg! Check the comments for the contents of the box. Dont forget that we also offer sides of beef at the low price of $9.50 per kg carcass weight (average weight is 110kg). Contact us today to place your order.

03.01.2022 Our beef is fully stocked at the One Tree Hill General Store, so why not come on down and stock up for the Christmas break?

02.01.2022 Weve had a busy couple of days down on the farm with halter training of some of our heifers starting. Yesterday Paige, Patience and Piper had a go, and today it was the turn of Tessie, Quintessa, and Que Sera Sera. Some of these girls will be retained in our home stud herd, and some will be available through our Kamshare program after they have their first calves. If youre interested in finding out more about our Kamshare program, send us a message. We do have girls ready to go at the moment, and were always happy to talk to people about what we offer!

02.01.2022 That feeling when the human gets the scritches just right.

02.01.2022 Our current herd bull Phoenix is such a handsome lad, with such a gentle nature. We just love him. How could you not?

02.01.2022 Weve got some different cuts of beef available at the One Tree Hill General Store/ Diner this month, including spare ribs and corned silverside, so why not head on down and pick some up today?
