25.01.2022 Only a week or two away from harvest, and I'm getting excited/nervous! This year will be a very small vintage from about 200 vines, but next year should see a larger vintage from around 900 vines. The winemaker is going to be James at Shiny Wine. 11.01.2022 Ride on sprayer Mark III worked well today. Just needs fixing so it actually mows grass as well!

11.01.2022 Unfortunately I've lost the remaining fruit to disease and won't be making any wine this year. A combination of poor weather, and only taking on the vineyard at Christmas meant I couldn't get the mildew under control. Next year will be a different story! The Grindelwald vineyard should be back to producing, and after a good prune and spray regime the Hillwood vineyard will be on the way back.
