10.01.2022 Last weekend the KBL team, along with our valued delivery partners delivered another successful Alternative Transport Solution during Queensland Rail’s track closure between Bowen Hills and Gympie North for TransLink. Over the two-day rail outage, KBL led the network project deploying a record breaking DDA fleet compliance of 78% accessible fleet on Saturday and 82% accessible fleet on Sunday. Although the conditions were hot on the ground for our dedicated team of Rail Super...visors and Customer Service teams, approximately 17,000 Customers travelled in air-conditioned comfort over the weekend. #translink #queenslandrail #transportsolutions

05.01.2022 Over the weekend, KBL provided rail replacement transportation solutions to service all stations from Bowen Hills to Gympie North, including the Shorncliffe and Redcliffe lines. KBL implemented express services between Bowen Hills and Caboolture servicing the hubs at Northgate and Petrie to ensure the bulk of the travelling public were transported quickly and efficiently. To maintain connectivity with our express services and minimising Customer waiting times, All Station routes between each hub were provided in addition to each hub being manned with KBL’s experienced Rail Supervisor’s and Customer Service teams. Overall, this extensive transport project had no major incidents or accidents which is a credit to everyone involved. Well done team.
