24.01.2022 Just a reminder that all the chocolate fundraising money is due to be returned. Thank you for all your support!

22.01.2022 Wednesday the 12th of April is our Easter Parade! The staff have made Easter Bunny masks for the parade already but feel free to create your child an Easter hat/bonnet if you would like to!! We have made masks with every child in the centre to make sure every child has something to wear in the parade. We will be commencing our parade at 9:30am and all the classrooms will be encouraged to walk around the Pre School yard to show off their Easter attire. Once we have finished we would like everyone to stick around and have morning tea with us until about 11:00 before the children go inside for rest time. If you would like to bring a plate of food to share then feel free! Miss Natasha's Grandfather is a music teacher and has offered to come and sing songs and bring his instruments on the day as well which we are really excited about.

21.01.2022 Dear families, quick reminder that March 21st is school photo day as well as harmony day. On this day we wear orange to celebrate Harmony Day. Please feel free to pack spare clothes for your child if you don't want them wearing orange in their photos.

18.01.2022 Below are a few healthy lunch box ideas to inspire you year-round. We always recommend thinking of each lunch box in terms of the five food groups and making sure they’re all represented: Dairy: the foods in this group are excellent sources of calcium, which is important for strong, healthy bones. Not many other foods in our diet contain as much calcium as dairy foods. Fruit: fruit provides vitamins, minerals, dietary fibre and many phytonutrients (nutrients naturally present... in plants), that help your body stay healthy. Grain (cereal) foods: always choose whole grain and/or high fibre varieties of breads, cereals, rice, pasta, noodles, etc. Refined grain products (such as cakes or biscuits) can be high in added sugar, fat and sodium. Lean meats and poultry, fish, tofu and seeds: our body uses the protein we eat to make specialised chemicals such as haemoglobin and adrenalin. Protein also builds, maintains, and repairs the tissues in our body. Muscles and organs (such as your heart) are made of protein. Vegetables, legumes and beans: vegetables should make up a large part of your daily food intake and should be encouraged at every meal (including snack times). They provide vitamins, minerals, dietary fibre and phytonutrients (nutrients naturally present in plants) to help your body stay healthy. Please note we are a nut and egg free center!

02.01.2022 Attention families: On the advise of SES and state police, all schools and early childhood centres have been asked to shut tomorrow Friday 31 March. As the flood cause way behind kangas could rise without notice, we have had to take this step to protect children, families and staff. We appreciate your understanding and hope everyone stays safe during this time.... Any further questions, please contact kristie via Kindyhub or on her mobile 0459416203. See you all next week
