14.01.2022 Our Suns teams celebrated NAIDOC week on the weekend. Kardinya is recognised as an Aboriginal word for "sunrise" and was part of our initial reasoning behind re branding as the Suns. We had Welcome to Country announced at the grounds, and took the time to acknowledge the contribution Indigenous players have made to our game - including our own players, with an emphasis that racism has no place in our game. ... Pics below include the from our Girls, both Year 6 sides & Year 9 games - Juraiya and Rhys from our 6s side are shown with their awesome painted boots. Thank you to Year 6 Donalds Mum Theresa for performing the Welcome to Country before their game at Alan Edwards (video to follow) WA Football #NAIDOC

08.01.2022 A word from coach Matt (year 4) Larry Gugaman played his first game for the Kardy Suns today and he kicked his first goal thanks to Luke Aiken doing the most sportsman gesture of the season by handballing to Larry in the goal square who turned and kicked the goal. Luke was at the top of the goal square and could have very easily kicked the goal himself. Amazing! #wafooty
