25.01.2022 One drowned chook is just itching to come inside!

23.01.2022 Grandchildren are a great help in the garden even if it is collecting bugs and butterflies to draw.

20.01.2022 Using a food cover on my one remaining strawberry plant, I saved the fruit from any persistent bugs and birds, and the result - ripe juicy plump strawberries. Yum...I could almost taste the red!

16.01.2022 Yep...the rains r comin’

14.01.2022 One of those slow mornings Snowball’s surprise egg however, made me realise that at times we just need to have a little patience.

11.01.2022 And the people stayed home. And read books, and listened, and rested, and exercised, and made art, and played games, and learned new ways of being, and were still. And listened more deeply. Some meditated, some prayed, some danced. Some met their shadows. And the people began to think differently. And the people healed. And, in the absence of people living in ignorant, dangerous, mindless, and heartless ways, the earth began to heal. And when the danger passed, and the peopl...e joined together again, they grieved their losses, and made new choices, and dreamed new images, and created new ways to live and heal the earth fully, as they had been healed." ~Kitty O'Meara'~

10.01.2022 Incomplete and imperfect kumquats! I can’t say the drawing or the potted jam was perfectnevertheless there was much joy in the process.

07.01.2022 Project Manager!

06.01.2022 Lavender needs cutting back but simply to hot at the moment. Happy to paint it instead.

02.01.2022 After the heat and harsh conditions of last Saturday, the rain is akin to starting with a fresh, clean palette.

01.01.2022 Fig’n delicious! Just needs a dollop more purple.
