13.01.2022 After being named a 2016 CBCA Notable book, Small and Big is the book that keeps on giving! At the recent Omega Writers Conference, my book won the CALEB Award for best picture book and was runner up in the overall best book prize! It was a lovely surprise and a great way to end a fabulous conference.

09.01.2022 I had a great time signing books and running workshops today at Brisbane Adventist College! I taught story structure to three classes in years 5 and 6. Thanks for having me, BAC!
06.01.2022 Very excited to announce one of my short stories, Stone the Crows, will be published by The School Magazine. I submitted a few poems and stories to them in 2008 without success, but this year I decided to try my luck again. It's nice to know my writing has improved with a lot of effort and more than a bit of patience. Happy days :)
