20.01.2022 RANDOM ACT OF KINDNESS The senseless murder of Tapiwa Makore continues to haunt everyone who hears about it. This was especially poignant for me as I am from Murehwa. I could not and still cannot believe that in this day and age we still have people with such backward thinking who do not know that the only way to succeed in life is through nothing else but good old honest and hard work. And then something happened.. A fellow Murehwanian responded to Tilda’s call for help for... groceries at the Makore Homestead. We were so honoured to be associated with such a generous and selfless act of giving and we were there in less than 2 hours. We are truly sorry for the circumstances but are also glad that there are still some good people out there. I can hold my head up high again and proudly proclaim that I am from Murehwa. Thanks homie. 17.01.2022 BABY STEP 7 LIVE AND GIVE LIKE NO ONE ELSE When called to purpose everything happens not as you plan it but as it should be. This week we delivered on a project that has been brewing in the background. Our task was to deliver hampers to expectant mothers at a local maternity ward. This was by no means our project and we don’t take credit for its initiation. Our part was to purchase within a budget and ensure delivery. The amounts involved were significant and we thank the... initiators for trusting us. KK embodies giving back. Our idea was to give back to immediate and extended family, but through you, our clients, we have been part and parcel of you giving back to society. Nothing could have made us prouder. My Zim Sisters & Brothers all over the globe showed us what we already know being that we have big hearts.
