24.01.2022 How did I find myself at the beautiful Seville Hill Wines this morning? It all began when Isabella attended her first Festa di via Verde committee meeting. She waited quietly while we went through our agenda and then said, Right! Are you finished? And presently went through her own list for the Festa. Biscuits! Have you got biscuits?? Cos you can’t have a Festa without biscuits. So biscuits we shall have, with Seville Hill Wines kindly providing the certified kitchen for ...12 Italian ladies to bake our first Festa biscuits. We can’t wait to see them in action! 16.01.2022 Our first round of funding has finally arrived for the Mooroolbark Street Art Project and to coincide we've opened Shops 5 and 16 at The Terrace Shopping Centre in Mooroolbark as a base camp, community space and artist in residence. To kick off we've got some fun school holiday activities going on tomorrow, a visit from the Easter Bunny and time to talk about Street Art ideas. Come by for a chat!!

But feedback has been that there are some businesses out there that just don't feel right nominating themselves. But they should! We have so many great businesses in Mt Evelyn. So this year we've mixed it up a bit and opened up PUBLIC NOMINATIONS. A great way for you to acknowledge a business that you value ...and believe should be recognised for what they do. You can nominate any business as long as they are based in Mt Evelyn OR service the Mt Evelyn area. This includes Home Based and Community Groups. There's a link below that will take to you the Mt Evelyn Community Website (thanks Joy!) where you can find Business Self Nomination Forms and the Survey link for public nominations. The survey takes 3 mins. Please take the time to nominate. Your nomination will remain anonymous. And if you do the survey you can go into the draw to win 2 tickets to our Awards Night! If your business is nominated we will contact you inviting you to participate in the award process. If you choose to participate we will keep things simple. A quick phone interview, maybe some supporting documentation to email and then you're in! All nominees will be invited to attend our Business Awards Night on Friday 15th November at the Eastern Golf Club, Yering. Anyone can come to the Awards Night.
