17.01.2022 We hope everyone is safe and well during these difficult times! As a disability support provider, we are increasingly worried about the wellbeing of people with a disability during the COVID-19 pandemic. Karinya Care stands with ‘Australian Disability’ who have united over 70 national, state and territory disability organisations https://ad.org.au//now-is-the-time-to-act-on-pandemic-meas. Australian Disability is appealing to the national cabinet to take urgent action by providing specific and targeted measures to proactively protect and support people with disabilities, their families and carers.

12.01.2022 Karinya Care has recently become a member of the NDIS Mid North Coast NSW Discussion Group . This group will be a great resource to those with a disability in the Mid-North coast. It offers a great opportunity to share recommendations, talk about what’s working or what’s new, hear from others with similar experiences or simply reach out in tougher times. If you have a disability, family or friend of someone with a disability or a service provider this group is a great resource for you!

01.11.2021 We have been up and about early this morning to enjoy the Australia Day celebrations. It’s so heart warming to see our communities coming together to celebrate our great country and continue to raise funds for those affected by bush fires and drought! A simple thank you doesn’t seem to be enough to acknowledge the hard work and sacrifices made by the RFS. As a country will be forever grateful.
