18.01.2022 Meet Shanine Shanine founded and runs Karmonic Performing Arts and currently teaches beginner to advanced singing and beginner guitar. She has a Bachelor of Music and a Graduate Diploma of Education. Working with Children Clearance and Police History Clearance. Dunsborough local of over 25 years and currently building in Vasse. She has been songwriting and performing for over 20 years and teaching for over a decade. Shanine has written, co-ordinated, designed and released a...n original album. She has toured nationally and internationally and performed at hundreds of venues, weddings, events, festivals and functions. Shanine has ran and lead choirs, bands, and concert bands. She directed a choir to perform at the world famous "Kimberley Moon" and has organised and ran "Battle of the Bands". She has over a decade of experience organising and running events and performances, admin, marketing, advertising and invoicing. Shanine is a qualified music teacher and has taught Kindy to Year 12 Music, Drama, Careers and Enterprise and Art. She has experience writing and teaching programs and lesson plans and has taught in the Kimberley, Kalgoorlie and the South West. She has coached students to become professional musicians and go on to get paid gigs, as well as teach singing and guitar for confidence, skills, mental health and fun, to ages 5 to 65. She has a passion for empowering people, animals, plants and loves expression and creativity. She is inclusive, welcoming and respectful to people of all ages, ethnicity, gender, orientation, religion and ability. Shanine loves to learn and grow and loves to share knowledge and skills. 17.01.2022 Hi everyone! It has been a while since I have posted anything online. I have had a very busy year; re-establishing myself back down south after my year up north, building a house and moving in, growing a baby!! As we are flying through term 4, I would like to take this opportunity to thank all of the parents and students I have taught this year. I have and am enjoying every moment! I am very grateful to do what I love everyday! I won't be taking on any new students now until next year, as I am flat out, please still get in contact, but please be aware of this. My baby is due early next year, so I will let everyone know, closer to the time, when lessons will commence again for 2021. Shanine

16.01.2022 Oh man I am so excited to share this one! We had a blast learning this. Beckett is rock steady, Cash switches back and forth to 3 different instruments and Be...llamy learned almost all of the words...there's a lot of them. Here's The Quarantine Kids' take on "You Can Call Me Al" by one of my heroes Paul Simon. This is day 32 of our nightly fam jam. I teach the kids a song in the morning, we play it a couple times and then record it in the evening. The songs are far from perfect but we are having a blast doing it. 12.01.2022 Kody, Zara and I are very excited that the slab to our new home is down :) I will teach from my brand new studio in Vasse, when it is built, but will still offer mobile lessons to those who would prefer. On that note, I have a few spots for mobile singing lessons in Vasse on Wednesdays. Message me for more info, Shanine :)

07.01.2022 Good afternoon wonderful people! I absolutely love my job and care about all my students and their families. I am offering lessons over Skype; to anyone one who is feeling ill or is self-isolating / feeling it is a measure they want to take while the Caronavirus is a threat.... I have started using hand-sanitiser frequently before and after each lesson and have ramped up my intake of oranges and garlic! I am still doing lessons in person, and it is a good time to remind you that I require more than 48 hours notice; if you or your child cannot make it to your lesson. If you give enough notice, I will make up the lesson when you or your child is well, at an alternate available time, along-side your regular lesson time. If you you feel unwell and do not want to spread germs, but are feeling up to a lesson over Skype or you are in self-isolation to protect yourself and your family, please contact me to arrange lessons over Skype.
